Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union is proud to announce it was awarded a $10,000 grant from Elan Financial Services through the Elan Charitable Giving Program, which Solidarity designated to benefit the Community Foundation Serving Howard, Clinton & Carroll Counties.
Thanks to a generous donor match from Community Foundation partners, the original grant was tripled to a total $30,000 investment supporting local communities. Solidarity selected the Community Foundation as the grant recipient in recognition of its mission to strengthen the region through scholarships, grants, and community-focused initiatives that create lasting local impact.
“This is a powerful example of how partnerships can multiply good,” said Amy Benner, President and CEO of Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union. “Elan’s investment, combined with the Community Foundation’s matching support, allows Solidarity to help turn $10,000 into $30,000 for programs that directly benefit our neighbors across Howard, Clinton, and Carroll counties.”
\The Elan Charitable Giving Program is celebrating its fifth year in 2026 and supports nonprofit organizations nationwide through purpose-driven partnerships with credit unions and community banks. Since launching in 2022, the program has distributed more than $2.5 million to nonprofits across the United States.
