Firefly Children and Family Services will hold a free, family event on Sat., April 18, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Ralphy’s Pizza & Golf, 2941 S. Washington St. There will be free games, pizza, and drinks for everyone. The entire community is invited to attend.
Firefly is a private nonprofit with a mission of empowering individuals to build stronger families and communities. It provides resources and support families need to prevent child abuse, offers short-term, home-based, family-focused services designed to keep children in their homes, facilitates youth placement in safe, nurturing environments, and delivers compassionate treatment to individuals suffering trauma, abuse, and substance abuse disorders.
Firefly Children and Family Services has been in operation in Indiana for 175 years, and it currently maintains more than 20 locations across the state. In 2025, more than 69,000 children received services and support from the organization.
