In November of 2025, an investigator with the Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an investigation after receiving six CyberTip Reports from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding Child Exploitation/Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material.

The CyberTip reports were generated after Google reported that more than 30 files suspected of containing child sexual abuse material had been uploaded to one of its services. Investigators determined the account was associated with Donald Krieg of Wabash, Indiana, leading to the execution of search warrants and the subsequent investigation.

Donald Krieg was taken into custody in Wabash County without incident with assistance from the Kokomo Police Department, Indiana State Police, and the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department

This investigation was conducted by Detective Kysha Quirk, an affiliated member of the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force encourages anyone to report suspected online child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or their local law enforcement agency. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that the filing of the information is merely an allegation, and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
