Josh Townsend, Nashville musician, will be the featured performer at Samaritan Caregivers annual Gospel Concert, Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. at ONE Church, 2734 S. Washington St., Kokomo.
Gospel Music’s 2018 Favorite Young Artist and 2022 Dove Award recipient, Josh’s phenomenal piano playing includes hymns of the church and impressive arrangements of favorite gospel music classics. Local musician Matt Gerhard will coordinate the event and perform with several well-known hometown favorites.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. There is no admission, but a free-will offering collected at the show will benefit Samaritan Caregivers. The presenting sponsor is All-Pro Plumbing, and an additional sponsor is Stout & Son Funeral Home & Crematory.
New this year, Samaritan Caregivers is offering a VIP Experience for $25, which includes food by Windmill Grill, a meet and greet with Josh Townsend and Matt Gerhard, a VIP door prize, and exclusive, up-front seating.
