Duke Energy has expanded on its already significant commitment to Hoosiers served by DSI Together with Bona Vista, the Kokomo nonprofit that serves adults, children, and families with disabilities.
Bona Vista has received a $5,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation for its “Arts for All Abilities” programming.
“We’re here to help our clients live fuller and more independent lives,” said Bona Vista’s Miriam O’Malley-Long. “And we definitely can’t do that without the support of the business community. Duke Energy has consistently shared their time and talents with us and the families we serve are better for it.”
Duke Energy employees regularly volunteer during Bona Vista events, including recently when they spent time with the nonprofit’s clients playing BINGO.
