Taylor Community School Corporation is happy to announce the sixth annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. This is an amazing event for the entire community. On Nov. 20, from 5-7 p.m. at Taylor Middle/High School campus, the school will host a free Thanksgiving dinner for anyone and everyone.

Additionally, the event will feature fun games and activities for families to partake in while they are here. And the dinner is coupled with a giveaway of coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and hygiene items. Local nonprofit community partners will be present to provide information about various assistance programs.

At the last Thanksgiving dinner, Taylor served more than 800 meals and gave away more 700 coats. With the help of the community, the school system hopes to help more families this year. In order to accomplish this, Taylor needs help to raise the funds.

The goal is to raise $5,000, and every little bit helps. Businesses willing to donate will have their logo or your name displayed on the televisions throughout the school, as well as on the school’s Facebook page.

The dinner and donation event will be held on the Taylor Middle/High School campus, but it is open to everyone in the community. Anyone may walk through the doors on Nov. 20 and become a part of the event.
