Coordinated Assistance Ministries (CAM) will hold a community-wide Coat Drive and Winter Support Event on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rhine Hall, 507 N. Union St., in Kokomo.
This event is made possible through a partnership between Carver Community Center, Refreshing Springs Church, and CAM, which have worked together to collect new and gently used coats and warm winter items for individuals and families in need.
Winter wear, including coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and blankets, will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, Helping Our Homies will be on-site, providing hot bag lunches to attendees, ensuring both warmth and nourishment during the event.
Community partners 4C Health and Food Finders Food Bank also will be present to offer valuable resources, information, and support services to community members seeking assistance.
Coordinated Assistance Ministries is dedicated to providing compassionate assistance, crisis support, and pathways toward stability for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. By partnering with local organizations, CAM works to strengthen community resilience and ensure every neighbor has access to essential resources.
