The United Way of Howard and Tipton Counties will hold its 2026 campaign kickoff on Tue., Sept. 22, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Bel Air Events, 3014 S. Webster St. The public is welcome to attend, and a free lunch will be provided.
The event will feature “Unitedopoly,” a Monopoly-inspired game show featuring more than a few surprises and plenty of fun. This will serve as the start of United Way’s 2026 annual campaign, raising funds for programs such as Buddy Bags, Imagination Library, tax preparation services, and United Way’s Information and Referral services.
The campaign also funds United Way’s annual grant programs. During this event, the organization will award $100,000 in grants to local nonprofits. And the 2026 fundraising goal will be announced during the festivities.
