Bradley Leon Smith
Bradley Leon Smith of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on October 17, 2023. He was born January 21, 1968, to Ronald Leon Smith and Cheryl Louise (Bates) Smith who preceded him in death.
Brad loved music and martial arts. He was a creative soul who loved to draw and make art. He enjoyed anime and was intrigued by Japanese culture. He had a witty, dark and fun sense of humor. When he loved, he loved fiercely and always said his children were his greatest accomplishments in this life and his legacy.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Melanie Smith; sons Ronan Smith and Aiden Smith; daughters Jaylyn (Dan) Akin and Jasmine Hizer; mother of his daughters Stephanie (Sterling) Clark; granddaughter, Nelia Akin; sisters, Stacie (Matthew) Smith, Melinda (Ryan) Jarvis, Nephew Camden (Ashley) Smith; Nieces Chelsey Smith, Daysi (Jake) Hopkins; bonus family niece, Vanessa Clark, Chardonnay Clark, Nephew Sheldon Clark.

Richard E. “Dick” Saul
Richard E. “Dick” Saul, 93, of Kokomo, went home to be with the Lord at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo. He was born September 7, 1930, in Tipton County, Indiana to Charley and Delores (Fenn) Saul. Dick married the love of his life Vangie Rae Broyles on December 17 ,1950 in Sharpsville, Indiana and she preceded him in death October 5, 2017. Dick was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed his family dearly. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Fairfield Christian Church.
Surviving family include his children, David (Shelly) Saul, of Kokomo and Erin (Terry) Ridenour of Brownsburg. He is also survived by grandchildren, Gahring Saul of Kokomo; Kathleen (Shea) King of Sorrento, FL; Sierra (Tristan) Stonger, Lanesville, IN; Mitchell Ridenour of Brownsburg, IN; Mallory (Matt) Carroll of Danville, IN; and Victoria (Stephen) Clawson of Riverdale, New Jersey. Great grandchildren include, Leann, Katelyn, Carter, Reid, Hudson, Maddux, Kennedy, Maverick, Oscar, Charlotte, Maylin and Jackson. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, wife Vangie, brother, Robert, and sister, Retha Ann West.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 – 12 noon at Fairfield Christian Church, 1476 E. County Road, 400 S., Kokomo, IN. 46902, with services immediately following at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mandie Gould officiating. Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery with military honors. Anita Joan Paulo
Anita Joan Paulo, 72, of Kokomo, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. She was born May 10, 1951, in Kokomo, the daughter of John and Betty Joan (Kline) Karnes. On July 28, 2006, she married James Michael Paulo, and he survives.
Anita graduated from Kokomo High School. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Anita was an avid Donald Trump supporter, loved the Indianapolis Colts, shopping, and garage sales. She was a member of Eagles Lodge.
Anita is survived by her husband, children, Michelle (Eric) Kerr, Michael (Casey) Ogle, George (Mindy) Burns III, Tiffany Burns, and Abigail Burns; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Les (Cheryl) Karnes, Wayne (Denise) Karnes, and John (Tina) Albertini.
Proceeding Anita in death were her parents, siblings, Darrell Karnes, Donna Tritt, and Greg Karnes.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday November 2, 2023, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, with Pastor Charlie Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home. Linda (Lee) Hamilton
Linda (Lee) Hamilton, 73, Kokomo, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her home. She was born September 14, 1950, in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert C. & Betty (Clark) Shaw.
Linda was a 1968 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School in Elwood and a 1970 graduate of Santa Monica California Jr. College. She worked as a project manager for Real Estate construction companies and was a Real Estate Broker. Linda also worked for several retail stores and locally at Lady’s Place and she was a huge pet lover.
Linda is survived by her children, Joshua Hamilton and Casey Hamilton; grandsons, Austin Hamilton and Xanthos (Nova) Stormbreaker; great-granddaughters, Eeveigh Stormbreaker and Viridiana Stormbreaker; 2 sisters and 2 brothers, along with several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets, Mable and Nala.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janet Shell; and pets, Taylor, Lexie and Wilma.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes, no services will be held. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to the Kokomo Humane Society.
