Shirley Ann Borg

Shirley Ann Borg, 87, Kokomo, passed away at 2:21 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, at her son’s home with family and friends at her side. She was born in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carl Borg and Doris (Wise) Falls.

Shirley spent her professional career in housekeeping at St. Joseph Hospital and previously at Star Glove Factory and cosmetology, where she was known for her diligence and kindness. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her 41 years of active participation at the Family Worship Center in Kokomo. Shirley dedicated her life to her family and community, touching many hearts along the way.

A woman of many interests, Shirley enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing piano, and cooking. She cherished time spent with her family and bowling. She also took pleasure in watching her favorite TV shows, which included games, cooking, home improvement, and dream home shows.

Shirley is survived by her sons Larry Alumbaugh of Westville, IN, Kevin Alumbaugh, Jeff (Marilyn) Alumbaugh, Brenda (Mike) Chesshir, Mike (Tina) Craft, and Robert (Leslie) Craft, all of Kokomo, IN, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and sister Arnette Borg of Dallas, TX.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lester and Don Borg, daughter-in-law Veronica Alumbaugh, and grandson Kyle Craft.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Family Worship Center, 1149 E. Center Road, Kokomo, with Pastor James Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the church and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to the Family Worship Center, honoring her commitment to her faith and community. Stout & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Randall Lee Hunter

Randall Lee Hunter, age 69, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025.

A public visitation for Randall will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. An entombment will occur Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 W Alto Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902.



Sharrie Karen (Broyles) Watson

Sharrie Karen (Broyles) Watson, 88, formerly of Sharpsville and Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Waterford Place in Kokomo. She was born in Kokomo, IN, on March 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Ross and Ruby (Somsel) Broyles.

Sharrie was a graduate of Sharpsville High School, and she earned a Bachelor’s in Education from Indiana University in Bloomington. She retired from Elkhart School Corp. after 30 years of service as a high school business teacher. Sharrie had a lively spirit and brought enthusiasm to life. She enjoyed celebrating her birthday with others who shared Saint Patrick’s Day.

She was dedicated to her family and holidays were always important to Sharrie. She was passionate about all animals, but especially her cats. Reading was her joy, and summer vacation was never long enough to read all the books she had set aside. She was formerly a member of Sharpsville United Methodist Church, where she was baptized and married.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews Debbie (Randy) Takata, Lynn Ann Broyles, Kristi (Don) Bever, Kim (Tammy) Pence, David (Shelly) Saul, Erin (Terry) Ridenour, Bart Pence, Bryan (Hope) Pence, Theresa Pence, Rick (Renee) Broyles, Dana (John) Goodrich, and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ross and Ruby Broyles and her son John Ross Tilley Somsel Broyles, along with her siblings Jack Broyles, Laneis Pence, Marcia Broyles, and Vangie Saul.

A memorial service celebrating Sharrie’s life will be begin 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Sharpsville United Methodist Church, 228 W. Meridian St., Sharpsville, IN 46068, with Pastor Heather Holman officiating. Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Sharrie’s name to the Kokomo Humane Society. Stout & Son Funeral Home – Sharpsville Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.



Tracy Lockert

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Tracy Lockert, who departed this life on July 16, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born on October 13, 1956, Tracy’s life was one marked by kindness, integrity, and quiet strength. To know him was to witness a heart that gave freely, a spirit that stood firm in faith, and a presence that brought comfort and wisdom to those around him. His legacy of love and resilience will continue to shine brightly in the lives of family, friends, and all who had the privilege of walking beside him.

Mr. Lockert leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories and meaningful moments. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived—a life that touched many and left the world a little better.

Geraldine Foster

With deep sadness and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Mrs. Geraldine Foster, who entered eternal rest on July 16, 2025, at the age of 92.

Born on April 8, 1933, Geraldine was a pillar of grace, strength, and unwavering love. Her life was a testament to faith, resilience, and the power of quiet courage. She nurtured generations with wisdom and warmth, and her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.

Mrs. Foster’s legacy echoes through the lives she touched—through her nurturing spirit, the lessons she taught, and the unwavering faith she modeled. Her family, friends, and community will continue to carry forward the light she shone.
