Lisa Gilsinger
On Wednesday evening, January 14, 2026, about 9 p.m., while surrounded by family, Lisa joined her mom, whom she missed so very dearly. Lisa was born March 23, 1968, to Kathie Ann (Gaddis) Hill. Her mom was very young when she had Lisa. It was often said by Lisa’s mom that they grew up together. Lisa was also blessed with a wonderful stepdad Danny Lidy.
She graduated from Haworth High School with the class of 1986. Lisa was known for her thrifting. She was not one to pass by a garage sale without stopping. The Rescue Mission Care and Share Store and the St. Vincent De Paul Store were two of Lisa’s favorite stores! In the last few years, as she became more dependent on oxygen, she was unable to leave her house to thrift as often. Lisa then found Facebook Garage Sale sites, Mary’s Online Thrift and Marketplace. That was her new favorite, thrifting delivered straight to her door.
On May 29, 1992, Lisa married Jim Gilsinger, the love of her life. Together they have two wonderful children Alicia (Wesley) Diaz and Levi (Haley) Gilsinger. Lisa has nine grandchildren Hayley, Bryce, Brielle, Kaidyn, Eithyn, Jace, Trevin, Jordyn, and Asher. Lisa loved her fur babies Harley James and Jaxon Lynx. When Lisa was 11 years and seven days old, Lisa was blessed with the little sister she never wanted, Michelle (Ryan) Joyce. Also surviving Lisa is her sister-in-law Jennifer (Big Mike) England and brother-in-law Don Swope.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Rhine Hall on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
