Gary Dale Cunningham

Gary Dale Cunningham, 86, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on January 17, 2026. He was born on September 17, 1939, in Hayti, Missouri, the son of James Brannon and Necia May (Freeman) Cunningham. Gary retired from Chrysler as a machine operator.

He liked to listen to classical music. Riding motorcycles was a great passion of his. He always looked forward to the family reunions with his grandson Josh. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of flowers, and greatly loved his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Deborah L. (Mark) Ebenhart, Gary D. Cunningham, Jr., and Michael C. Cunningham; grandchildren Mark A. Cunningham, Alexis R. Boller, Briana L. Ebenhart, and Michael C. Cunningham II; great-grandchildren Abigail G. Ebenhart, Otto J. Chelednik, Jett J. Broens, Maverick W. Broens, Avery Jo Degler, and Bailey and Preston Ebenhart; siblings Elsby Cunningham, Bobby Cunningham, Jimmy Cunningham, Teresa Allen, Mary Waggoner, and Liz Kelly.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Joshua A. Ebenhart; sisters Shirley Clinton and Claudette Ingram; brothers Charlie Cunningham and Johnny Cunningham; daughters-in-law Ana Cunningham and Ella Cunningham; and his best friend and most loyal companion Pepper.

Visitation will take place at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the start of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Daniel Lane Sprinkle

Daniel Lane Sprinkle, 73, of Tipton, died Sunday, January 18, 2026, at I.U. Health -Tipton Hospital. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on May 24, 1952, to John Lane and Clara Marjorie (Dunn) Sprinkle. He married Rosemary McNew on April 17, 1982, and she survives.

Dan was very good with his hands. His ability to fix things led him to his career as a mechanic with Tragesser Concrete in Tipton. Back in the day, he attended Sharpsville Schools. He was an avid car enthusiast, owning and showing his 1931 Plymouth, 1955 Studebaker, and his 1948 Indian motorcycle. He spent numerous hours attending car shows and swap meets everywhere. “Hemi Dan,” as he was known, really enjoyed his drives throughout Indiana to take in the scenery and to look for hawks and the best tenderloin he could find. His family was able to share in his mushroom hunting successes, enjoying his finds.

Dan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era in Germany.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary and children Rachel Sprinkle, Jennifer Sprinkle, and Emily Luckey. Siblings include John Earl Sprinkle in Florida and Oliver Sprinkle and wife Pam in Kokomo.

He lovingly raised two grandchildren Addison and Stella Sprinkle and is also survived by his other grandchildren Samara Beason, Owen Sonnier, Chance Luckey, and Annie and Asher, and his step-grandchildren Julian, Georgie, and Helena Epp.

He was preceded in death by a stepson Erin Epp and sisters Clara Mae Brough, Carolyn Anthony, and Trudy Jones.

A memorial service for Dan will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home lead by his family. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Online condolences may be left on his obituary page at www.young-nichols.com.

Luther “David” Bledsoe

Luther “David” Bledsoe, 78, of Galveston, passed away early Friday, January 16, 2026, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. He was born September 26, 1947, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to Luther Day and Dorcie (Willis) Bledsoe. He married Bonnie L. Lange on April 13, 1969, and she preceded him in death on February 14, 2016.

Dave served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and retired from Chrysler in 1998 with more than 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Surviving family include his two sons Steve Bledsoe of Kokomo and David and wife Kimberly Bledsoe of Galveston. He is also survived by three granddaughters Kayla, Katlyn, and Kiara, and six great-grandchildren Hazel, Kayde, Everley, Liam, Madelyn, and Ryleigh. Dave is preceded by his parents and wife Bonnie.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held with a memorial visitation on Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.

Thomas N. Horton

Thomas N. Horton of Tilton, Illinois, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at The Waters of Covington Nursing Home in Covington, Indiana. A Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street, in Danville.

Tom was born to James T. and Wanita (Bozell) Horton Jr in Tipton, Indiana, on October 5, 1951. He graduated from Tipton High School. After graduating, Tom worked for Norfolk & Western Railroad, which is what brought him to Danville in 1974. Following the railroad, he worked as a bus driver for First Student where he drove a school bus for District 118 until his retirement.

Tom married Nancy Harmeson on July 31, 1999, and the two shared 24 years together before she passed in 2023.

In November of 2010, Tom was a heart transplant recipient. He would have left us long before now if not for the donor’s unselfish generosity.

Tom had an immense love for The Beatles. He enjoyed telling stories from his years of being a bus driver, playing trivia games, and doing puzzles and crosswords. Tom was a diehard Cubs fan.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, both of his parents, a brother John Horton, and his brothers-in-law Charles Harmeson Jr. and Steven Harmeson.

Tom is survived by his family, which includes Vickie & Don Albright, Brian Harmeson, Donna Harmeson, Lisa & Dewey McClain, Donna Horton, Amanda Broughton, Tina Edwards, Tyler Harmeson, Crystal Lewis, Alicia McClain, Nakita McClain, Ryan McClain, Angela Smith, Brande Winchester, and several great nieces and nephews.

Rickie Joe Worley

Rickie Joe Worley, known affectionately as Rick to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at the age of 72 in his hometown of Kokomo, Indiana. Born to the late Robert and Betty Worley on January 13, 1954, Rick’s life was one marked by devotion to his family, a passion for craftsmanship, and a warm sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew him.

Rick leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as he is survived by his wife of 55 years Joyce Worley, who was his lifelong companion and best friend. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, and together they raised a family that was Rick’s pride and joy. His daughter Brandie Phelps (Andy) and son Nathan Worley (Breanna) will carry forward his spirit of kindness and integrity. Rick’s grandchildren Brittnee and Caiden Ca’they, Savannah and Alek Weir, Dakota and Shauni Phelps, and Gracie and Ezra Worley were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his teachings and stories will be treasured for generations to come. His great-grandchildren Elias, Elliot, Everly, Willow, Bear, Mekhi, Gabriel, and Amelia were a source of immense joy and pride for Rick.

Rick’s siblings Terry Worley (Kay), Rodger Worley, and Robin Townsend, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will fondly remember their times together. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sherry Anthony and Vicky Whittacre, whom he held dear to his heart.

Professionally, Rick was a respected Master Craftsman at St. Joseph Hospital, where he dedicated more than two decades of service. His exceptional skills and attention to detail were evident in all his works, and he took great pride in contributing to the community through his expertise. Rick’s craftsmanship extended beyond his vocation, as he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and an accomplished woodworker. His creations were not just objects of beauty, but tokens of love for those who received them.

A devout Christian, Rick lived his faith through his actions, embodying the principles of compassion and charity. He was a man of intelligence and wit, always ready with a joke to brighten someone’s day. His friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure in his community, and his capacity for forming lasting friendships was truly remarkable.

Rick will be remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest, embracing each day with zest and an open heart. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the quiet strength of a life well-lived. As we bid farewell to Rickie Joe Worley, we celebrate a life that touched so many and left the world a better place. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Candese “Candy” Carol (Cain) Glisson

Candese “Candy” Carol (Cain) Glisson, 68 years old, of Frankfort, IN, passed away 12:23 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her home. She was born in Covington, Kentucky, on September 26, 1957, the daughter of Ralph Thomas and Dolly Delores (Haake) Cain.

Candy was a loving wife to her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Larry Glisson. They shared 48 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Holmes High School. She retired from the White Castle Factory where she worked in production and as a shift supervisor.

She is survived by her children Chrissy Glisson, Larry Glisson Jr., Cheryl (Clifford) Stroup, Steven Glisson, and Stephanie Glisson; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Glisson Sr., daughter Tabatha Glisson; mother Dolly Delores Haake; and father Ralph Thomas Cain.

There are no public services scheduled for Candy. Burial will take place in Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, at a later date. Jerry Wayne Brazzel

Jerry Wayne Brazzel, 85, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away January 17, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1940, in El Dorado, Arkansas, the son of Lonnie B. Brazzel and Nettie H. (Henderson) Brazzel. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked at Chrysler for 33 years before retiring.

Jerry loved hunting, fishing, flea markets, and going to gun shows. He was a lifetime gun enthusiast.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons Lonnie Brazzel, Bill Brazzel, and Jerry Brazzel; grandchildren Whitney Shrader, Colby Brazzel, Carson Brazzel, Bailey Brazzel, Travis Brazzel, and Shaela Brazzel; great-grandchildren Benjamin Brazzel, Elias Brazzel, Matthew Shrader, Camilla Shrader, Lily Brazzel, and Lincoln Brazzel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Nadine Deason.

Beverly Kay Snow

Beverly Kay Snow, 76, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare-Sycamore Village Care Center in Kokomo.

She was born in Miami County, Indiana, on October 4, 1949, to Charles Roscoe and Evelyn Jennesse (Shaffer) Martin. Beverly was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing embroidery, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her daughter Diana (Earl) Heath of Kokomo, Indiana, and her son David (Terri) Alexander of Muncie, Indiana. Also surviving are nine grandchildren Brittany (Lori), Kayla (Christopher), T.J. (Serria), Shyla, Daven, Shayla, Faith, Micah, and Jordan, many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Benjamin Alexander Jr., and siblings Charles Kenneth, Phyllis, Barb, Donna, and Sherlene.

Rick Alan Johnson

Rick Alan Johnson, 61, of Palmer, Alaska, departed to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 9:54 PM.

He was born on June 30, 1964, in Tipton, IN, to Harold Lloyd and Mildred Joan (Glassburn) Johnson. He married Leslie Jane (Day) Johnson on May 6, 2025, who survives.

Rick was a PFC Track Vehicle Repairer for the U.S. Army from September 1983 to March 1986. After separating from the Army, he worked for many companies, including INDOT, Mortenson Construction, Waste Management, the Indiana State Armory, & Phoenix Management (DOD contractor for the Air Force). He retired September 2025 to begin the next chapter of his life in Alaska with his wife.

Rick was a man who never met a stranger. He always enjoyed talking to everyone & helping whenever he could. He was a man of deep faith & compassion. His family meant everything to him & always came first. Rick loved his grandkids with all of his heart & spent as much time as possible with them. Among spending time with family & friends, he loved riding his Harley-Davidson, mowing the yard with his Exmark mower, woodworking, & driving any & every piece of heavy equipment he could. His favorite passion was hunting. He quickly gained the name “Coyote,” as he always seemed to shoot deer with some kind of injury. He was so excited to get to Alaska to go moose hunting with his wife.

Rick is survived by his daughters Lydia R. Johnson & Nichole B. Johnson (Daniel Pollard); his son Sean P. Johnson (Victoria); his stepson Justin Newton; and his grandchildren Taylor Mayhill, Kayliana Gonzalez, Emma Johnson, David Pollard, Elaina Pollard & Bella Newton.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law Pamela J. Day; his sister-in-law Katherine L. Day; his Uncle Phil & Aunt Deanie Dunham; and his two favorite dogs Sadie & Dexter.

Rick was preceded in death by his father & mother; sister Debera Sayer; step-brothers Rick J. Johnson & Greg Johnson; his grandchildren Makaveli Johnson & Willow Johnson; his father-in-law Larry Day; and his beloved dog Cherokee.

A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date in Indiana.
