Dorris Arlene Clingaman

Dorris Arlene Clingaman, 89, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away June 16, 2026. She was born on April 24, 1937, in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of Vearl “Woody” Packard and Annona Mildred (Zartman) Packard.

Dorris retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of employment. She loved traveling, including adventures to Florida and Alaska. Dorris and her late husband Warren loved being outdoors camping and fishing. She played the Hawaiian guitar with her father in a band when she was a child.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Debbie Mangifico, Paul (Kathy) McCain, Ralph (Heather) McCain, and Danny (Penny) McCain; stepson Ronnie (Penny) McCain; grandchildren Dana Mangifico, Lisa Mangifico, John Mangifico, Shaun Ray, Lynnzzy McCain, Cole McCain, David (Jennifer) Boss, Randy McCain, Jeremy Merriweather, Corey (Hannah) McCain, and Brady McCain; great-grandchildren Scarlett McCain, Leah McCain, James McCain, Marco Mangifico, Julian Mangifico, and Emilio Aguilar; many other friends and relatives.

Dorris was preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren Clingaman; and former husbands Donald McCain, Herbert Hines and Allan Campbell.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana. Marnell Tyler

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Marnell Tyler went home peacefully to be with her Lord with her two daughters by her side. Born on October 5, 1935, in Rockport, Kentucky, she was one of five children of Herschel and Mildred Fogle. On January 23, 1954, she married James Tyler.

She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in Michigan in 1954. Jim and Marnell were married 53 years before his passing in 2007. Marnell was a stay-at-home mom, bank manager, and church secretary during her working years. She was a leader in the Psalms Bible Study in Kokomo, IN, for more than 20 years.

Her survivors include her two daughters, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren: Debbie and Mike Meehan of Columbus, IN; Patrick Meehan of Westfield, IN; Chad Meehan of Kokomo, IN; Katie Anderson of Nashville, TN; Tyler Anderson of Wilton Manors, FL; Jamie and Jay Smith of Pittsboro, IN; Matthew Smith of Pittsboro, IN; and David Smith of Davenport, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, daughter Marlene Forrest, parents, three brothers, and one sister.

A very special thank you goes to The Village Assisted Living facility in Evansville, IN, for their loving care of Marnell over the past three years.

Funeral services with be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, followed by the burial at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Tommy W. Jarrell

Tommy W. Jarrell passed on June 17, 2026, at the age of 76.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, on June 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
