Kenneth Housley
Kenneth Housley, 86, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born July 3, 1939, in La Follette, TN, to the late Floyd and Rena Housley.
He married Rosie Huntsman on December 24, 1965, and together they raised three sons. Kenneth worked as a press operator for Kolux Corp. for 35 years before his retirement. He enjoyed watching his Westerns on the TV and keeping up with his favorite sports teams, the TN Titans and the Colts. He also made sure to watch Shepherd’s Chapel every day. He liked to go out fishing with his sons and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his sons Kenneth Floyd Housley, Lewis Dale Huntsman, and Ernest Richard Smith (Kim); grandchildren Samantha, Levi, Junior, Christina, Kenneth, Katie, Ernest, and Zachary (Kiania); 13 great-grandchildren; siblings George, Eddie, Bobby, Cindy, and Cheryl, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Rosie; sisters Peggy, Mary, and Jessie; and brother Jimmy.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery.
Noah William Aaron
Noah William Aaron, a beacon of strength and joy, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 27. Born on September 7, 1998, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Gregory and Tina Aaron, Noah was a spirited soul who brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew him. His untimely departure in Los Angeles, California, has left a void that can never be filled, yet his legacy of courage and compassion will forever resonate.
Noah grew up in Kokomo, surrounded by a close-knit family that nurtured his adventurous spirit. He was the cherished brother of Hannah Ault (Tyler), Hope Aaron, and Caleb Aaron. Other influential family members included his aunt Debbie Parish (David), aunt Danelle Pingleton (Jay) and Uncle Tony Broo (Rhonda). Noah also shared an unbreakable bond with his grandmother Phyllis Tonita Conwell. Although he was preceded in death by his grandparents Dan and Helen Aaron, their values and love shaped the extraordinary man he became.
A proud graduate of Kokomo High School in 2017, Noah excelled overall athletically. His ability as a formidable high school football player, where he shined as a running back, was matched by his speed and determination on the track. His dedication to athletics extended into his personal life, where he found solace and strength in working out in gym.
Noah’s love for the outdoors was evident in his newfound passion for surfing, a hobby that allowed him to enjoy the ocean waves and beaches. Noah also loved watching college and NFL football. In addition, he was a big fan of scary movies. Whether on the field, in the gym, riding the surf, or cuddled up on the couch with the love of his life Evelyn watching movies, Noah’s captivating smile and infectious energy were unmistakable.
Family was the cornerstone of Noah’s life. He cherished and spoke highly of his beloved nephews Hudson Aaron and Lincoln and Layton Ault. His love story with his devoted companion Evelyn Asadoorian was one of mutual admiration and deep love. Together, they shared dreams, adventures, and unwavering support for one another.
Noah’s friendships were a testament to his thoughtful nature. Best friends Austin “Bova” Holmes and Zach Robinson knew him as a courageous and loyal friend, always ready to embark on a new adventure or lend a listening ear.
Described by those who loved him as adventurous, thoughtful, and courageous, Noah’s approach to life was one of embracing every opportunity with open arms and a fearless heart. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
Noah’s journey through life, though brief, was marked by an unwavering commitment to living fully and loving deeply. As we say goodbye to this remarkable young man, we carry forward the memories of his smile, his kindness, and the profound impact he made on each of our lives. Though Noah William Aaron will be dearly missed, the warmth of his legacy and the love he shared will forever remain with us.
A celebration of life will be held at Abundant Life Church, 865 E 400 S, Kokomo, IN, on Saturday, November 8, with visitation from 12-2 p.m. and Reverend Audrey Guard officiating services starting at 2 p.m.

William “Scotty” Cox
William “Scotty” Cox, 66, of Kokomo, passed away 12:52 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Community Hospital North Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on April 27, 1959, in Tipton, IN, the son of Elrod and Opal Cox. On February 14, 2004, he married Lesa Holloman in Tipton, IN, and she survives.
He formerly worked at Fed Ex as a truck driver and later a supervisor in shipping. He was a funny man with a quirky sense of humor. He found joy in playing practical jokes on people. Scotty willingly gave his trust on sight unless somebody betrayed it. His favorite hobbies were fishing and woodworking. He loved listening to country music and to cook.
He is survived by his wife Lesa and a brother, Terry Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Chester Ray Johnson
Chester Ray Johnson, 71, Kokomo, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. He was born July 23, 1954, in Alexandria, Indiana, the son of the late Chester E. & Dorothy (Weston) Johnson.
Chester was a 1972 graduate of Alexandria Monroe High School. He retired in 2019 from the Howard County Courthouse as a maintenance supervisor after 25 years of service. He was passionate in Digital Artwork such as animation in Paint Shop Pro.
Chester is survived by his son Chester Johnson; stepdaughter Rebekah Price; siblings Leota (James) Shuck, Paul (Kathy) Johnson, Jerry (Lori) Johnson, and Winnie (Jeff) Johnson; sister-in-law Lori Dee Johnson; along with several nieces and nephews.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Ora Kay Johnson, Merna (Raymond) Hood, Rick Johnson, and David Johnson.
In keeping with Chester’s wishes, no services will be held. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
