And then the conversation turns to the impending food crisis that is expected to accompany the suspension of $1.9 million in SNAP benefits to Howard County recipients. They are joined by Bethany Wenger, Public Health Projects Director for the Howard County Health Department, and Derick Steele, executive director of the Kokomo Housing Authority. The two are spearheading the organizational effort to ensure meals for those in need starting in November.
