The Kokomo High School Dance team had the opportunity to perform at the halftime of the Lady Wildkats’ sectional final game against the McCutcheon Mavericks on Feb. 2, and the young women put on an impressive show.

Whether they were leaping through the air, tumbling over one another, striking emotionally evocative poses, the dance team members interpreted a tragically themed routine with great impact.

Kokomo Schools’ dance teams at the high school and middle school levels have made halftime difficult for fans in the stands this year. Instead of hitting the concession stands, people stay in their seats to watch the show. There’s no getting up to stretch legs when the dance team hits the court.

To catch these ladies in action, make sure to attend the Kokomo varsity boys’ basketball games before the season draws to a close.
