14th annual event attracts hundreds of enthusiasts

Car shows are a staple of summer in Kokomo, and Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union showed everyone how it’s done on June 8 with its 14th annual Car, Truck, and Bike Show.

Located at Solidarity’s home office along Southway Boulevard, the show attracted so many vehicles that the credit union’s two spacious parking lots couldn’t handle them all. 

Visitors had to park nearby and walk to the event. Fortunately, they were quickly rewarded with some remarkable sights.

More than 25 awards and plaques were given to top competitors in a variety of categories, such as classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, antiques, and trucks.

Everyone was entertained with live music. There were drawings for door prizes, and Solidarity even provided a free lunch to all who attended.
