The Howard County Historical Society invites you to come enjoy Mr. Kingston’s Auto Exhibition on the lawn of the Seiberling Mansion Sat., July 27, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.



Check out a wide variety of historic cars built before 1950, including a 1902 Haynes Apperson Runabout from right here in Kokomo. Decorate and race derby cars.  Admission to the Seiberling Mansion is free during the event.



  • Purchase refreshments from Scout Troop 619. Everything is $1!
  • Bring your own derby car or use one of the society’s to race on a track provided by Cub Scout Pack 3527.
  • Try your hand at identifying some curious automotive objects from the Historical Society’s collection.
  • Get your picture taken with “Mr. and Mrs. Kingston.”
  • Watch a team assemble and disassemble a Model T in record time.
  • Watch Mayor Tyler Moore race derby cars against local hero Tom Tolen at noon.
  • Check out a vintage clothing display, an Electricar display, a Kokomo motorcycle, and so much more!
