The Howard County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a hit-and-run incident that took place in the early morning hours September 2, 2024.
At approximately 4:30 a.m., a Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen from the 600 block of East Walnut Street in Greentown. The suspects then drove the vehicle to the 500 block of Holiday Drive, where they crashed into another vehicle. After the collision, the suspects fled the scene on foot, just moments before officers arrived. They were described as two males who were of slim build, wearing black pants and black hooded sweatshirts.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office asks residents in the vicinity of East Walnut Street and Holiday Drive to check their doorbell cameras, security cameras, or any other recording devices for footage that might assist in identifying the suspects. Any images, videos, or other information that could aid in the investigation would be greatly appreciated.
