Tumbling Classes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Carver Community Center, 1030 N. Purdum St., is hosting tumbling classes. These hour-long classes will take place on Mondays and Thursdays at 5, 6, and 7 p.m. and on Sundays at 1 and 2 p.m. Parents are welcome to stay to observe. The Center Township Trustee’s Office has opened its Hand Up Food Pantry at the township office, 213 E. Jefferson St. The pantry is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-11 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. The goal is to serve those experiencing food insecurity. Participants must make an appointment by calling 765-452-8259. A photo ID or proof of address is required.

Do you have a new bundle of joy? Or do you feel like you’re in the trenches of parenting? Join the New Baby Bunch for friendship, support, and to share your parenting journey with other caregivers. A Medal of Honor ceremony for Simon Harris will be held at Kokomo Memorial Park, located at the corner of North and Ohio Streets, on Thu., Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. The medal is being awarded posthumously to Harris for his valor demonstrated during the Philippine Insurrection of 1899. Temple Baptist Church offers the Kokomo Corn Maze. Located at 1700 S. Goyer Road, the corn maze covers 10 acres and includes a riddle sheet to help you navigate the maze. In addition to the corn maze, Temple Baptist will offer hayrides, barrel train rides, concessions, a mini golf game, corn box, straw pyramid, and more. Trick-or-Treat Hours

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The City of Kokomo has announced that Trick-or-Treat hours for Halloween 2025 will be Fri., Oct. 31, from 5-9 p.m. Residents are asked to limit their children to these hours within the city limits. Homeowners participating in Trick-or-Treat should leave their porch lights on or turn them off if they have run out of treats or are not participating. Trick-or-Treaters are encouraged to use flashlights and wear reflective clothing and to remain in well-lit areas familiar to them. Participants and drivers are asked to use caution, as children may run into the street rather than using crosswalks or crossing at street corners, which is strongly recommended.
