This article is brought to you by the Kokomo Downtown Farmers Market. Kokomo is recovering from the storm, and fortunately the Market will be open for business as usual on Sat., June 13, from 9 a.m. until noon. Make the trip to the corner of Washington and Mulberry streets to pick up delicious baked goods, fresh produce, a variety of flowers and plants for the garden, and so much more!

The Kokomo Downtown Farmers Market offers live music, educational opportunities, crafts from local artisans, and so much more! Don’t miss your chance to enjoy the best of what Kokomo has to offer! We’ll see you Saturday at the Market!

Relay for Life will celebrate its 30th anniversary in Kokomo this September, and organizers are hoping that survivors and participants from the past three decades will rejoin their Relay teams for a special celebration.

Utilizing a “Back to the Future” theme, Relay for Life will take place in Kokomo on Sat., Sept. 12, from noon until 10 p.m. on the Courthouse Square. The event has been moved from Foster Park to the middle of downtown this year.

Organizers are looking for teams and vendors that were involved in past Relays, encouraging their participating in the anniversary year. They also are searching for people willing to share their experiences from past Relays.

To share your story, arrange for a vendor booth, or reactivate your Relay team, contact Sherri Johnson, Howard County Relay for Life Lead, at 765-457-7277 or via email at sjohnson@syndicatesales.com
