A letter to the editor from Rev. Ruth Lawson, interim executive director

In my first month back to CAM in May 2026, the dryer went out for the CAM Residential Center, serving 23 men. We want to thank Martin Brothers TV and Appliance of Russiaville for their generous gift of a dryer.

Then, the washer for the residential center died, but it was revived by Ted Driver of Driver’s Appliance Rescue. Thank you for your generous gift of repairing the washer.

Oil changes and some repairs were needed for the two CAM Howard County Connect vans, which offer free transportation needed in the hours following the parking of the Kokomo City Line trolleys each night. Thanks to Colescott’s Car Care Center & Mobil 1 Lube Express for their generous donation of oil changes and van repairs.
