This article is brought to you by the Downtown Kokomo Farmers Market. THIS IS IT! The final market of the year takes place tomorrow, Sept. 27. You don’t want to miss it! This is your last chance to gather the best in locally sourced produce and meat. This is the last time to find that lovingly created piece of home decor. Fresh baked goods. Honey. Wine. There’s no end to the options … actually, there is. It’s tomorrow. Get to the intersection of Mulberry and Washington streets this Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon to celebrate the arrival of fall and to say a fond farewell to our many vendors! We’ll see you at the Market!
The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of northbound U.S. 31 in Kokomo for concrete pavement repairs.
Beginning on or after Wed., October 8, crews will be working between the State Road 931 interchanges on the north and south sides of Kokomo. Work on the project is expected to be complete by the middle of November. Southbound U.S. 31 will reopen in advance of this northbound closure. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the official detour of S.R. 931.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
