Northwestern senior Hailey Jordan is one of 15 finalists in the running to be named Indiana DAR “Good Citizen.” Jordan is the Howard County “Good Citizen” as named by the General James Cox chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Each student entered an essay asking them to “Describe how the characteristics of good citizens help to renew and strengthen the democracy achieved by the Patriots of the American Revolution. The DAR “Good Citizen” award recognizes students who possess good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools and communities.
