Family Service Association of Howard County, Inc. (FSA) announced that it has listed its long-time property located at 618 S. Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana, for sale as part of a strategic effort to downsize and transition into a facility that more appropriately meets the organization’s current and future operational needs.

This decision reflects FSA’s continued commitment to responsible stewardship of resources while ensuring the highest level of service to individuals and families across Howard County. The organization emphasized that this property transition will not impact client services in any way. All programs and supports will continue uninterrupted.

“Our mission remains unchanged,” said Angie Ciski, Executive Director. “We are deeply committed to serving vulnerable populations in our community, and this move allows us to better align our physical space with how we deliver services today—efficiently, accessibly, and sustainably.”

For nearly 60 years, Family Service Association of Howard County has been a trusted source of support for children, families, and individuals facing economic hardship, mental health challenges, and life transitions. FSA provides essential programs and services designed to strengthen families, promote self-sufficiency, and improve overall community well-being.

The sale of the Main Street location is part of a broader strategy to ensure long-term organizational stability while continuing to respond to evolving community needs. FSA plans to relocate to a smaller, more cost-effective space that supports collaborative service delivery and improved accessibility for clients.

Community members, partners, and clients can be assured that FSA’s dedication to compassionate, high-quality service remains steadfast. Additional information about future facility plans will be shared as decisions are finalized.
