Center Township Trustee Andrew Durham invites residents from across Kokomo and Howard County to attend the 8th Annual Community Expo & Resource Fair on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Center Township Campus, 213 E. Jefferson Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.
The Community Expo is a completely free event designed to connect residents with local organizations, services, and resources while providing a fun day for families. More than 30 community agencies, nonprofits, and service providers will be on-site to share information about programs and opportunities available throughout Howard County.
Families attending can enjoy a variety of free activities, including:
- Free lunch
- Children’s activities and games
- Petting zoo
- Community resource booths
- Giveaways and family-friendly entertainment
A special food giveaway will begin at 12:30 p.m., with food provided through partnerships with Food Finders Food Bank and Midwest Food Bank, helping families access additional food resources at no cost.
“This event is all about bringing our community together and helping residents connect with valuable local resources,” said Durham. “Whether you’re looking for information about services available in our community, activities for your family, or simply want to enjoy a free lunch and spend time with neighbors, we encourage everyone to attend. Thanks to our community partners and sponsors, there is absolutely no cost to participate.”
The Community Expo continues to grow each year and has become a signature event focused on improving quality of life, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring residents know where to turn when they need assistance.
The event is made possible through the support of community organizations and sponsors, including Duke Energy, Duke Energy Foundation, Community First Bank, Indiana Heartland FCU, and Meijer.
The 8th Annual Community Expo & Resource Fair takes place Thursday, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Center Township Campus, 213 E. Jefferson Street, Kokomo, IN 46901. Admission is free.
