The Howard County Health Department will offer free administration training for Narcan and Epi-Pen Autoinjectors at the next First Friday celebration in downtown Kokomo on Fri., Aug. 7, from 5:30-8 p.m.

Complete the training to receive a free dose of Narcan. Complete a short survey to enter to win a portable charging bank.

First Aid Skills at First Friday is coordinated through CrisisReady Howard County, a grassroots initiative with the goal of teaching individuals and households how to prepare for emergencies and disasters. There also will be information about CrisisReady’s upcoming presentation, scheduled for September. Snag some of the free home emergency preparedness resources while chatting with health department personnel.
