Hobie's early years in West Virginia set the stage for a life filled with adventure and camaraderie. After moving to Kokomo, he quickly became a cherished member of the local community. For 24 years, Hobie dedicated his skills to Moore's Construction as a master sealer, where his hard work and dependability earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients.

Hobie's competitive spirit shone through in his leisure activities as well. He was a regular on the greens, enjoying rounds of golf with his friends, where friendly banter was as much a part of the game as the swing of the clubs. He faced life's challenges head-on and encouraged others to do the same with his unwavering support and infectious optimism. Hobie's departure leaves a void in the Kokomo community and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His story is one of a life well-lived, filled with the pursuit of happiness, the warmth of companionship, and the love of family. As we bid farewell to Hobie McCallister, we celebrate the memories he created, the laughter he sparked, and the courage he inspired.

As the sun sets on Hobie's earthly journey, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide us. We will miss his presence, his voice, and his unwavering spirit. Hobie's life was a journey of joy, resilience, and love—a journey that will continue to be honored by all who knew him.
