Howard L. White

Howard L. White, 67, of Kokomo, passed away at 12:53 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born on March 5, 1957, in Kokomo, the son of the late William H. and Barbara Irene (Cox) White. On May 6, 1983, he married Vicki Gail Fisher, and she survives.

Howard graduated from Western High School. He was the owner and operator of White’s Meat Market. Howard was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Elks Lodge of Tipton.

Howard is survived his wife, Vicki White; sons, William “Josh” (Sarah) White, and Zack (Mandy Clark) White; grandchildren, Emily White, Katelynn White, Peyton Kirby, and Matthew Atherton; sister, Tina (Mike) Cagel; nephews, Jason (Kristine) Carter, and Matt Carter; and several nieces and nephews.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara White.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, to help the family with funeral arrangements.



Roger D. Brock Jr.

Roger D. Brock Jr., 52, Connersville, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital-86th Street. He was born in Kokomo on December 5, 1971, to Roger Dale Sr. and Ann (Johnson) Brock. He married Vicki Young on January 30, 1998, and she survives.

Roger graduated from Temple Christian Academy in 1990. He worked for Kirby Risk for 17 years and was working for Wright Company of Indiana/Bloomington as a traffic controller. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing baseball, and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Indiana Hoosiers. He loved his family, especially playing with his grandchildren. 

Along with his wife, Vicki, Roger is survived by his children, Dillion Moffitt, and Makayla Moffitt; mother, Ann Brock; siblings, Lisa (Doug) Nagel, Lana Hunt, Mary Witt, and James (Laura) Brock; grandchildren, Mayabella Moffitt, Hunter Moffitt, Jayden Carlisle, and Daius Clayborn; brother-in-law, Mark Young; father-in-law, Paul Young Sr.; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Brock Sr.; brothers-in-law, Scott Hunt, and Paul Young Jr.; grandparents, Max & Mary Glass; and mother-in-law, Connie Young.

A funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Dr. Jim Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in Russiaville Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Ronnie Lee Roach

Ronnie Lee Roach, age 79, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Kokomo to the late Carl and Georgia (Graham) Roach on April 8, 1945. Ronnie married Paulette (Jones) on September 10, 1966, and she survives.

Ronnie graduated from Kokomo High School and went on to enlist in the United States Navy in 1963. He served two tours during the Vietnam War, where he earned a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1967. Ronnie was a member of the VFW Post #1152. After serving his country, he started working at Chrysler and retired after 32 years of employment. He was also a member of UAW #685.

Ronnie had a passion for sports. He was a high school basketball referee for 6 years and he organized the Saturday Kokomo Church League Softball. He was involved in the Tipton American Legion Baseball Program. Ronnie was also very active in Tri-Central High School and Youth Sports.

Ronnie was proud of his 57 years of marriage to Paulette, his three sons, and nine grandchildren.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Paulette; three sons, Michael Roach, Greg (Heather) Roach, and Eddie (Pam) Roach; and nine grandchildren, Gabe, Conor, Sarah, Zach, Ellie, Bry, Addy, Emily, and Kyla.

Preceded in death are his parents; brothers, George and Dick; sister, Leland; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a time of visitation on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m., at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, In. Pastor Dave Osborne will be officiating. Entombment will follow to Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with full military rites performed by the VFW Post #1152 Military Rites Team and the United States Navy. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronnie's memory to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.

 



Sondra Wolfe

Sondra Wolfe, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2024, in Kokomo, Indiana, at the age of 82.

Born on August 6, 1941, Sondra was the daughter of Phill Samuels and Elva Walker LaDow. She married the love of her life, Ernest S. Wolfe, in 1963 and together they raised two wonderful children, Stephen Lance Wolfe and Michael Jason Wolfe.

Sondra was a proud graduate of Kokomo High School and later went on to pursue her passion for creating beautiful floral arrangements, which eventually led to her starting her own catering business. She brought joy to many through her beautiful arrangements and delicious dishes. She eventually left behind the excitement of catering to spend more time on the things she loved the most, her family and travel.

Sondra was always there for those she loved, never missing any major events or milestones in the lives of her sons or her husband. Sondra made sure she was always readily available for them, whenever they needed her. Sondra excelled at being a loving mother and wife.

Sondra was adored by her family and friends for her infectious laughter, warm smile, and kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her adoring husband Ernest S. Wolfe, her son Stephen Lance Wolfe, along with his wife Jennifer Wolfe, Sondra's grandson, Foster D. Wolfe, Sondra's youngest son, Michael Jason Wolfe, and her brother, Jeff LaDow and his wife, Julie LaDow.

Sondra’s Memorial service will be on Friday, May 31, 2024, held at Ellers Mortuary, located at 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, IN 46902 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

David V. Schultz

David V. Schultz, age 79, of Peru, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024. David was born on September 21, 1944, in Dodge City, Kansas, to his parents Biril & Ruth Schultz.   

Those left to carry on David’s legacy of love are his son Christopher Schultz; daughter Linda Schultz; brother Roy Schultz; sister Christine Schultz; and friend Sandra Buck. 

David was welcomed into Heaven by his parents Biril & Ruth Schultz, wife Pamela Schultz, and son Clifford Schultz.
