Patricia Luella Davis

Patricia Luella Davis, 83, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away May 8, 2024. She was born on May 5, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of William Goebel and Florence Jane (Coburn) Ewing. She retired from Delco after 35 years of employment. She married the love of her life, the late Donald Davis on June 29, 1963. Pat loved taking care of her family and loved each and every one of them. She loved planting flowers and working in her yard.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Veronica (Jeffrey) Birchler, Daniel (Brandi) Davis; honorary daughter, Angie Buscher Kaho; grandchildren, Dylan (Makayla) Redmon, Jonathan (Jessica) Birchler, Taylor (Cantrel Ware) Nicewarmer, Ashton (Grace) Davis; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Leah, Isaac Birchler, Kaia and Kingston Ware; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Donald; 9 siblings.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, May 13, 2024, at St. Patrick's Church, 1204 N. Armstrong, Kokomo, IN from 10:00 a.m. until the start of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Doris M. Barton

Doris M. Barton, 90, of Kokomo, passed away on May 9, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on December 3, 1933, in Path County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Stanley and Kathleen (Bailey) Nester. On March 9, 1952, she married Earl Barton who preceded her in death on August 6, 2003.

Doris retired from Delco Electronics after 23 years in 1992. She then went to work at St. Joseph Hospital’s Admissions. After retirement from St. Joseph’s she continued to volunteer there and serve as a Stephen Minister. She was a member of 2nd Saturday Morning Breakfast Club “Delco Dollies”, “Donuts with Doris”, and the Happy Hookers Crochet Group. She loved reading, spending time outside, traveling, shopping, and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her children, Susie (Jim) Robison, Danny Barton, Kathleen (Randy) McCracken, and David (Kirsten) Barton; daughter-in-law, Jill Barton; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and siblings, Gordon Nester, Judy Fearnow, Wanda Said, and Linda Short.

Along with her husband, Earl, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Barton; parents, Stanley and Kathleen Nester; daughter-in-law, Nina Barton and siblings, Betty Nester, and Donald Nester.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, where a scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 County Rd S 200 W, Kokomo, with the Rev. Fr. Kyle Neterer the celebrant. A graveside Committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Keith Edward Myers

Keith Edward Myers, age 61, of Kokomo, Indiana, lost his battle with COPD on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. He was born on February 10, 1963, in Kokomo to the late Jackie and Neva (Fannon) Myers.

Keith graduated from Kokomo High School in 1982. Keith worked for Chrysler as a pipefitter for 28 years and retired in 2021. He was a member of the UAW #685. Keith had a fun sense of humor and enjoyed pranking and joking with his family and friends. He was a racing enthusiast and also enjoyed watching football as he was an avid Colts fan. When he was younger, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Keith loved being in the outdoors, sitting on the porch, where he spent most of his time.

He is survived by sons, Josh (Lindsay) Ray and Chad Myers; daughter, Kelsey Myers; nine grandchildren, Jamiah Tyson, Asher Myers, Lucy Ray, Jayvien Liggin, Nora Ray, Hazel Ray, Jamir Myers, Malcolm Myers, and Charlotte Ray; siblings, Kelly Sarver and Lyle (Alisha) Myers; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death are his parents; siblings, Tim Raines, Wes Sturgell, and Jackie L. Myers; brother-in-law, Charlie Sarver; and uncles, Cloyd Myers and Bill Myers.

There will be time of visitation for Keith on Thursday, May 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ellers Mortuary Main Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo, IN. A private burial will take place at South Union Cemetery.



Mary Jayne Deeter

Mary Jayne Deeter, 85, a lifelong resident of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She was born October 21, 1938, to the late Russell Diller and Reba Kirtley.

Mary loved to stay busy. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, and painting. She spent a lot of her time outdoors riding her motorcycle, going camping, and fishing. She also loved getting a great deal at garage sales.

Mary is survived by her husband Daniel Deeter; children Rickey Deeter (Jennette), Terry Deeter (Mitzi Smith), Mylinda Wright (Kenneth); grandchildren Carrie Smith (Josh), Jennifer Brower (Matt), Danielle Wright, Andrea Wright-Hughes (Sam), Ashley Jung (Patrick), Matthew Deeter (Kasey), Darrick Deeter (Layke); great grandchildren Caitlynn Martin (Kolby), Caleb Hernandez, Miah Brower, Oliver Jung, Braxton Deeter, Annabelle Deeter, Weston Deeter, Abbott Deeter, and Walton Deeter; great-great grandchild Makenna Martin; two sisters Debbie Wilson (Ed) and Kathy Fletcher (Bill).

In addition to her parents Mary is preceded in death by her stepfather Lemuel Kirtley and her stepmother Mary Diller.

There will be a private service.
