Jessica Apryl Naquin

Jessica Apryl Naquin, age 34, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana. She was born October 1, 1989, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Juan Nieto Gonzalez Jr. and Ancelma Castillo. Jessica is survived by her parents and siblings Andrea Villanueva, Juan Nieto III, Israel Nieto, Priscilla (Nieto) Huertas, Ygnacio Nieto, David Nieto, and Jeremy Nieto. Preceded in death by her brother, Leeroy Nieto.

Jessica was a 2008 graduate of Frankfort High School. She married her high school sweetheart, love of her life, Nathaniel Naquin and had two beautiful children, Apryl and Nathaniel Jr., who were the most important part of her life.

Jessica loved and cared for all of her nieces and nephews. She was happiest being surrounded by all of her family.

She worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician at Hope Behavioral Services. Jessica enjoyed coaching soccer for Apryl and Nathaniel’s teams. She was an avid runner and could beat all of her brothers. She adored her corgi, Nicky Jam, and tolerated her cat, Shakira. A faithful Christian, member of Crossroads Church, and enjoyed attending Bible Study. Jessica had a love/hate relationship with the Miami Dolphins. There was no better friend than Jessica. She impacted the lives of many through her loving spirit, wonderful humor, and strength like no other.

A funeral service celebrating Jessica’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo.
