Brian Pinion
Brian Pinion, a soul defined by his unwavering free spirit and boundless love for his family, friends, and beloved pit bull, Piper, left us on the 9th of August 2024. Born on October 26, 1976, in Belleville, IL, Brian's journey began as a beacon of joy and laughter, characteristics that would become his signature throughout his 47 years of life.
Graduating from Gibault High School, Brian went on to dedicate 30 years of service to Chrysler, where his hard work, dedication, and camaraderie with his colleagues were deeply valued. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his involvement with the United Auto Workers (UAW), where he stood as a steadfast member, contributing to the wellbeing of his fellow workers.
Brian's zest for life was contagious. He absolutely loved riding motorcycles, the feeling of freedom on the open road mirroring the liberty with which he lived every aspect of his life. His friends and family often found themselves in the warm embrace of his company, whether it was during a roaring party or a quiet moment of companionship. Brian's home was filled with laughter, music, and the clinking of pool balls, as he playfully refused to let his children win, teaching them, in his own way, the value of persistence and the joy of competition.
His children, Alexis and Aiden Pinion, were the center of his universe. Brian's devotion as a father was evident in every action, every sacrifice, and every moment he spent guiding and loving them. They, along with his father, James Pinion, will carry forward the light of his presence in their hearts.
Brian's affable nature made him a wonderful friend and a great listener. His ability to make anyone feel comfortable and heard was a gift that made him a cherished confidant to many. He was someone who would do anything for anybody, no questions asked, embodying the true essence of friendship.
Funny, friendly, and loving—these are the words that best describe Brian. His humor was a source of comfort and connection, his friendliness a bridge to new relationships, and his loving nature a testament to his big heart. The loss of Brian's spirited presence leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his legacy of joy and undying love will continue to inspire.
Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Kay Pinion, who no doubt welcomed her son with open arms upon his arrival at his heavenly abode. He leaves behind his loyal pit bull, Piper, who was more than a pet but a cherished member of his family, embodying the unconditional love and companionship that Brian valued above all else.
As we bid farewell to Brian, we celebrate the indelible mark he has left on our lives. His laughter echoes in the memories we share, his free spirit inspires us to live authentically, and his love reminds us of the beauty in forming deep, unbreakable bonds.
Yet, the essence of who he was transcends any physical place and will reside forever in the stories we tell and the lives he touched. Brian Pinion's legacy is a tapestry woven with threads of joy, resilience, and an abundance of love, a tapestry that will cover and comfort us all in the days to come. He will be greatly missed. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. Brian was loved by many people. Please consider helping donate to his children. Or please make donations toward some type of motorcycle charity in his honor. Please also consider being an organ donor.
