Reverend Paul D. Enochs

On August 18, 2024, at 11:20 a.m. Reverend Paul D. Enochs, while surrounded by his loving wife and family, took his last breath on this earth and took his first breath in heaven. Paul was born on October 4, 1943, in New Castle, Indiana, to Reverend Cecil Jacob Enochs and Mary Lorraine (Jackson) Enochs.

He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1961. Paul was a gifted athlete, and after graduating he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, however, the call of God on his life was greater than his desire to play baseball. Paul made the decision to answer the call and attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

On June 13, 1964, Paul married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ruth (Austin) Enochs (deceased). Together they had three daughters, Cynthia, Stacey, and Christina, and were later blessed with a bonus daughter, Tracy. Paul and his wife, Mary, also opened their hearts and homes multiple times to young men and women who needed a place to stay and feel the love of God and family. Prior to his passing, many of those same people reached out to make sure he knew the impact his life and love had made on their lives.

When his daughters and grandchildren were young, his home was always open to any of their friends. Whether it be swimming in the pool, raiding the kitchen or just hanging out, they always had a place to feel loved and experience joy. Paul preached his first revival at age 16, and after bible college, he began traveling the country and ministering at countless Assembly of God youth camps and revivals. The impact that he had on the people he touched in these camp meetings and revivals changed the course of so many lives. In 1967 Paul entered into full-time ministry at First Assembly of God Church in Kokomo, Indiana. In 1980, Paul founded Cornerstone Christian Center Church in Kokomo, Indiana. He lovingly served the people of the church there until his retirement in 2015.

Paul played the piano and had a wonderful singing voice. He was a part of many gospel trios and groups throughout his life. He was happiest though when traveling and singing in a group called “Panacea” with his daughters and his good friend, Jack Mognett.

Paul never did lose his love for sports and could be seen officiating sporting events all over the state of Indiana until his health recently no longer permitted him to do so. He also loved going to local sporting events, especially if his grandchildren were involved. He was a Northwestern Lady Tigers superfan for many years and never missed a game.

On November 19, 2022, Paul married Robin Ann (Lewis) Enochs. He and Robin enjoyed spending time in Florida during the cold Indiana winters and were blessed to minister together in churches in Kokomo and during their travels. Although their time together was cut short, the beautiful memories they made will last a lifetime.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Enochs, parents; Cecil and Mary Lorraine Enochs; and brother, Jerry Enochs. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Robin Enochs; his daughters, Cynthia Sheets, Stacey (Steve) Swinson, Christina (Robert) Jacobson, Tracy (Dwayne) Flynn; son, Cameron Brown; grandchildren, Lawrence P. Cross, Melissa (Austin) Warner, Chrystal (Joshua) Fowler, Jared (Krystle) Caudill, Saxon (Heather) Swinson, Jordan (Drew) Wells, Austin Douglas, Shayden Swinson, Easton Douglas and Noah Jacobson; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Lou Skinner; and special friends, Jim and Vickie Dunn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at In His Image Church, 2940 E. 50 N., Kokomo, with Pastors Brad Swain and Lewis Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. Memorials can be made to the Taylor High School Athletic Department. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Kokomo, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Kimberly Jane (Stevens) Bambrough

Kimberly Jane (Stevens) Bambrough, age 63, of Tipton passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 22, 1960, to her parents, Robert “Bigtime” Stevens and Judith Kay (Propes) Stevens. On June 5, 2004, Kim married the love of her life, Stephen Craig Bambrough, and the two shared 20 wonderful years together.

Kim graduated from Kokomo High School in the class of 1978. Through the years she worked for Acra Line and Steel Parts in Tipton. Kim’s family was always her top priority. She loved being a wife and mom, but being a Mimi was her absolute favorite gig. You could search the world and not find a better cheerleader for their grandkids. Kim refused to ever miss activities, sporting events, or quality time with her grandkids. Every moment was a gift!

Kim was often called the life of the party. She was a free spirit and fun followed her everywhere she went. Kim was genuine, loving, and very loyal. She always took the time to be a listening ear for anyone who needed her. She was admired by many; not just for her authenticity, but also for the way she carried herself. She was crafty, stylish, and fashionable. She loved her animals with all her heart and took great pride in her home; always tending to her garden and flowers. To unwind, you may have found her listening to music, playing a game of Angry Birds, or escaping to the beach. To know Kim was to love her. She will be missed beyond measure!

Those left to carry on Kim’s legacy of love are her husband, Craig Bambrough; children, Dayna (Marshall) Reede, Cody Bambrough; grandchildren, Blayke Acord, Christien Damewood, Elizabeth Reede; brother, Michael (Maddie) Stevens; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kim is also survived by additional family members, whom she felt fortunate to find later in life.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Gene Stevens; grandparents, Wayne & Wilda Stevens, James & Pauline Propes; and best friend, Suzi Johnson.

A funeral service celebrating Kim’s life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 314 N. Main St. in Tipton with Pastor Terry Querry officiating. Visitation for family & friends will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as Friday, August 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Tipton’s Fairview Cemetery immediately following the service. A gathering will be held at the conclusion of burial; details will be announced at that time for all who wish to attend.

Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bambrough family in their time of need.

Mynarski, 94, of Galveston, went home to be with the Lord at 1:45 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital Emergency Room in Kokomo; a hospital Mary knew so well, working at then-named St. Joseph Hospital for over 40 years. Mary was born February 11, 1930, in Howard County to James Owen and Anna Delores (Harness) Fisher. She married Stanley Mynarski Jr. on November 13, 1949, at Upper Deer Creek Church in Galveston. Mary started working at St. Joseph Hospital as a ward clerk, she then went back to school and earned her RN. Mary was a hard worker also helping Stanley on the family farm. Even though Stanley and Mary had no biological children, they became Uncle Stanley and Aunt Mary to many neighbors and close friends and family in the surrounding area. Mary enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, collecting stamps, coins, Hallmark ornaments, and Barbie dolls. She also loved cats, which Stanley didn’t share the same affection.

Mary is survived by her nieces and nephews, close friends and caregivers, and countless church family and others from the community. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley, sisters, Myra J. Ridenour, Iris A. Hensley, and Carol Fisher.
