Robert “Rob” Clark Hewitt
Robert “Rob” Clark Hewitt, 59, of Russiaville, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Community Heart & Vascular Center- Kokomo. He was born on April 6, 1965, in Kokomo at Howard Community Hospital, the son of Pleamon E. and Sharon "Sue" (Smith) Hewitt.
Rob graduated from Western High School in 1984. In 1986, "Robbie" met the love of his life and soulmate, Christine "Chrissy" Noel Norris whom he married on September 9, 1989, in Russiaville. Rob called Russiaville his home and proudly served as a Councilman after his retirement from the town.
Words cannot express the man that Rob truly was, to even begin to try would be impossible. Rob loved his family more than anything and wasn’t afraid to let it show. He was an amazing father to his two beautiful daughters and grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren. “Paw's” heart was overjoyed as he cherished being with his grandchildren in their day-to-day lives, whether that be getting them on and off the bus, taking care of them while they were sick, or spending the weekends with them. Rob's sense of humor was more than just having fun. He lightened the load of the world for the ones he loved. He enjoyed family vacations, watching NASCAR on the weekends, cooking, listening to his favorite songs, writing poetry, and talking to God. Rob was an avid animal lover and was joined in Heaven by his best buddy Hoss. He was the source of our joy, the center of our world, the whole of our hearts, and will forever be missed.
Along with his wife, Christine Hewitt, he is survived by his parents, daughters, Shanna N. (Michael) Lott, and Courtney G. (Jason) Lawson; grandchildren, Hunter A. H. Lott, Adilyn N. Lott, Asher M.
