Jenell Rae Price

Jenell Rae Price, 77, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Community East – Indianapolis. She was born on February 26, 1948, in Kokomo, the daughter of Floyd and Lula (Hunter) Snyder. On February 8, 1969, in Kokomo, at Calvary Baptist Church, Jenell married Thomas E Price, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2020.

Jenell graduated from Kokomo High School in 1966. She retired from General Motors after 30 years. Jenell enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, cruising around town with Tom in their Corvette, or simply spending time on the back porch. She liked reading magazines and watching American Idol and The Voice. She also loved visiting her granddaughter at IU.

Jenell is survived by her daughter April (fiancé Doug Tate) Owens, granddaughter Addison Owens, siblings Sherrill (Bill) Green and George (Mary) Snyder, brothers-in-law Jim Krajewski, Ron Kitts, Sheldon Bowser, and Dave (Marcheta) Price, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with Jenell’s husband Thomas E. Price, she was preceded in death by her parents Floyd & Lula Snyder, sisters Kathryn Bowser, Lila Kitts, Anita Maine, and Donna Krajewski, and brothers Bobby Joe Snyder and Fred Snyder.

A funeral service celebrating Jenell’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo. Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Richardson

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Richardson, 75, of Camden, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on April 10, 2025, at her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 8, 1950, in Alameda, California, the daughter of the late Jeanne Smith. On May 20, 2016, she married Richard “Dick” Richardson at Burlington Church of Christ, and he survives.

Kathy was a 1968 graduate in Madison, IN, and earned an Associate’s degree from the Professional Careers Institute in 1974. She dedicated her life working as a nurse, caring for others for more than 41 years. Kathy was an active member of her church and community. She had a servant’s heart and always put others first. She loved animals so much that she had chickens, goats, and many dogs over the years. When she wasn’t with her animals, she was in her garden or knitting. She also loved to play games and cards.

Along with her beloved husband Richard Richardson, she is survived by her children Jennifer (Tony) Addison, Michael (Danielle) Taylor, Christina (Todd) Shockey, and Kimi (Jim) Cannioto, loving grandchildren Kaiman Addison, Tripp Addison, Owen Taylor, Eli Taylor, Kaitlyn Cox, Damian Purtlebaugh, C.J. Verbeck, Erin Verbeck, Taylor Verbeck, and four additional grandchildren, great-grandchildren Ashley Cox, Emilia Cox, and Mailynn Shockey, brother Bill Smith, and several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Debbie Grunden, daughter Linette Verbeck, and her first husband Joe Grunden.

A memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Burlington First Brethren Church, 205 W. 8th Street, Burlington, IN 46915. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathy’s memory to Burlington First Brethren Church or to the Cass County Humane Society, 700 Water St., Logansport, IN 46947.
