Linda J. Parker, Arthur “Muff” Cloum, Twyla Mae Butzin

Linda J. Parker

Linda J. Parker, 72, of Kokomo, passed away at 10:40 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. She was born on August 13, 1952, in LaFollette, TN, the daughter of the late Carnus Taylor and Edna Bonnie (Pyle) Parker.

She was a 1970 graduate of LaFollette High School. She worked as a housekeeper at St. Mary’s Hospital in LaFollette, TN. Linda enjoyed gardening and went to church anytime she could. She loved the Lord and was a part of the Baptist Church and Church of God.

Linda is survived by her four sisters Anna Mae Rutlidge, Mary McKoon, Wilma Earnheart, and Bonnie Parker; brother Robert E. Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Carnus Parker Jr.

A funeral service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory – Jefferson Street, 414 W. Jefferson St. Kokomo, IN 46901. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday, August 11, 2025. Arthur “Muff” Cloum

Arthur “Muff” Cloum, age 80, of Windfall, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was born in Monroe, Michigan, on August 16, 1944, to his parents Elias & Ethalyn (Williams) Cloum. On July 29, 1973, Arthur married the love of his life Jeanne Brunk. They shared 52 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories.

Arthur graduated from Monroe High School, class of 1963. He was an incredibly hard-working man, retiring from Tri-Central High School as a member of the maintenance staff. He proudly served in the United States Army, serving a tour in the Vietnam War. He was awarded a Purple Heart medal for his bravery and dedication while sustaining injury during battle.

Arthur enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting deer, rabbit, squirrel, and duck. He coached Little League baseball for 30 years. He coached and grew the love of the sport for each of his children.

Arthur was outgoing; he made friends wherever he went. He loved to tease everyone, always a jokester! He had a kind heart and joy in his soul. Above all else, he was a family man. Arthur loved spending time with his grandchildren, making sure they each knew how special they were to him. He will be greatly missed.

Those left to carry on Arthur’s legacy of love are his wife Jeanne Cloum; children Scott Kincaid (Lori) of Marion, Troy Cloum (Michelle) of Sharpsville, and Heather Steed (Nasir) of Kokomo; grandchildren Stephanie Olsen of Idaho, Anthony Steed of Kokomo, Owen Powell of Atlanta, Grace Powell of Arcadia, and Jenna Shelton of Marion; great-grandchildren Lucas Overton and Maggie Olsen; siblings Jackie Pastorius and Dianna Mettie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arthur was welcomed into Heaven by his parents Elias & Ethalyn Cloum and siblings Dean Cloum, Everett “Willie” Cloum, Charles “Dink” Cloum, and Louise "Freddie" Loop.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, August 12, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Rock Prairie Baptist Church, located at 421 Ash Street in Tipton.

Twyla Mae Butzin

Twyla Mae Butzin, a beacon of love and joy, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, in her hometown of Kokomo, IN, at the age of 75. Born on January 12, 1950, to the late Anna Jane and Luther Richmond, Twyla's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the strength of family bonds.

A proud graduate of Kokomo High School's Class of 1968, Twyla furthered her passion for beauty and care by attending Wright's Beauty College. Her career as a beautician allowed her to touch the lives of many, leaving a legacy of beauty and grace that extended far beyond her work at Delco, from which she retired. Twyla's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through times of joy and sorrow with unwavering grace.

Twyla's vivacious spirit shone brightly through her love of ballroom dancing and singing karaoke. Her voice, whether lifted in song or laughter, had the power to light up a room and warm the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. An avid sports fan, she cheered with gusto for her favorite teams: the Colts, Pacers, and the Fever. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she was often the life of the party during game days, surrounded by friends and family.

Family was the heart of Twyla's world. She is survived by her devoted son Kirby Butzin (Stephanie) and daughter Heather Alexander (Paul). Her grandchildren Logan Butzin (Hayley), Lanee Butzin, Lynzey Butzin, and Chloe Alexander (Dylan), along with her great-grandson Baker Butzin and bonus grandson Camden Davis brought immeasurable joy to her life. Twyla's brother DeWayne Richmond (Karen) and her beloved nieces and nephews will also hold her memory dear. Preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Keegan Alexander, Twyla's legacy will continue to live on through the love and stories shared by her family.

Twyla's best friend Sally Lytle Stillwell was like a sister to her, and the bond they shared was a source of strength and happiness throughout her life. Together, they created countless cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

Described by those who knew her as loving, funny, and friendly, Twyla's presence was a gift to all. Her laughter was contagious, her smile a symbol of her inner beauty, and her kindness knew no bounds. She had the rare ability to make each person she met feel special and loved, a quality that will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Twyla Mae Butzin's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and friendship. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take solace in the knowledge that her spirit will continue to dance among us, guiding us with the light of her love. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories passed down through generations and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

A Celebration of Life will be held at In His Image, 2940 E. 50 N., Kokomo, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Friends and family may gather prior from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
