Georgia L. Warner, 96, of Navato, California, went to her heavenly home on July 11, 2025.
Georgia Louise (Hummer) Warner was born in Kokomo, IN, on October 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Herbert Garrett and Fannie May (Rediger) Hummer. On August 14,1950, she married Ralph Warner, who preceded her in death in 2011.
Georgia was a graduate of Modesto College in Modesto, CA, where she received her accreditation as a Certified Apartment Manager, and then continued to keep her education updated and current with the National Apartment Association. She worked for the same apartment management company for 36 years.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Novato.
Georgia was known for her outgoing and friendly personality and her love of animals and the outdoors. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles, and conversation with friends and family.
She is survived by one son Garrett (Vivian) Floyd, one daughter Sue Carol "Livia" Warner, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as a brother Herbert Howard Hummer, and a sister Rita Joyce (John) Bagby.
Along with her spouse, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son Joe David Warner, granddaughter Shelley Warner, brother Joseph Henry Hummer, and sisters in-law Carole Hummer and Janice Hummer.
A private burial was held in Tetersburg Cemetery, Goldsmith, IN, with Rev. Fr. David Huemmer assisting the family with the gravesite prayers.
