Willodean Webster
Willodean Webster, 102, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on November 1, 2025. She was born on April 24, 1923, in Fayette, Alabama, the daughter of James Wallace and Susan (Tucker) Adeline Roby. She married the late Belton Webster on December 23, 1939.
Willodean was avid gardener and loved tending to her flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed quilting, canning vegetables from her garden, crocheting, and sewing.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Sharon (David) Padfield; grandchildren Richie Webster, Michelle “Shelly” Warrum, Dan Padfield, Alan Padfield, and Sean (Krystal) Padfield; great-grandchildren Richelle, Clarissa, Nikki (Justin), Ashley (Chad), and Colt; great-great-grandchildren Jamison, Jasmine, Brandon, Alyssa, Caden, Zack, Zane, Bryson, Brylon, Serenity, and Natalie; and great-great-great-grandchild Emerson.
Willodean was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Belton; son James Earl Webster; and siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Willodean’s name to the Community Garden at the South Branch Library on Center Road. Brenda Jo (Tidler) Crousore
Brenda Jo (Tidler) Crousore, 74 of Walton, Indiana, died peacefully at her residence on Friday, October 31, 2025. She was born in Tipton on July 5, 1951, the daughter of William E. and Doris G. (Amstutz) Tidler. She married William Crousore on June 21, 1978. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2025.
Brenda worked diligently in the maintenance and custodial department at Delco in Kokomo until retiring in early 2000. She was fun to be around and enjoyed having lunches with her friends. She kept sharp working on crossword puzzles and creating memories in her scrapbooks. Most of all, she loved her family and her beloved dog, Boo.
She is survived by her daughter Ginger Wiggington of Kokomo and stepson Michael A. Crousore and wife Brooke of Noblesville. She has five grandchildren — Taylor, Andrew, Abigail, Marlee, and Macy — and two great-grandchildren, Milo and Kiera. Her brothers are Charlie Tidler and William E. Tidler, Jr.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place from Noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.

George Richard Klein
George Richard Klein, “Dick” to everyone who knew him, 90, of Tipton, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at I.U. Health – Tipton Hospital. Dick was born in Kokomo on October 20, 1935, to Karl L. & Leland G. (Roach) Klein. He married Mary E. Colvin on October 29, 1960, and she survives.
Dick was a Union Electrician for more than 30 years and worked on many commercial projects throughout his career. He was an avid outdoorsman and a dedicated fisherman. Dick served many years as a Utility Regulatory Commissioner. He was a dedicated family man – husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Survivors besides his wife Mary include three children, Bryan Klein, Kathi Klein, and Pam Fisher, as well as a sister, Pat Klein. Dick also has 11 grandchildren: Katie Klein, Britney Klein, Degan Klein, Olyvia Klein, Brandon Fisher, Jacob Fisher. Bethany VanSickle, Haley Ney, Addie Fisher, Mariah Fisher, and Janae Fisher. He was preceded in death by one grandson Parker Klein and two brothers Jerry Klein and Chuck Klein.
Funeral services for Dick will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, at the Normanda Christian Church, 8019 W. Division Road, Tipton, with Steve Brown presiding. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. Friday until the time of the service.

Stanley Michael Bounds
Our beloved brother and uncle Stanley Michael Bounds completed his earthly journey on October 23, 2025. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Stanley was born July 27, 1948, to Freeman and Dorthy (Zeiger) Bounds in Kokomo, Indiana, and is survived by his sister Pamela (Robert) Gilbert and nieces and nephew Cindy Bounds, Chad Bounds, Jessica (Joshua) Martin, and Stephanie (Aaron) Kane, along with two aunts, one uncle, several cousins, two great nephews, and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his father and mother in 1991 and 2013, respectively, his brother Gary Bounds in 2019, an infant sister, and one infant nephew.
Stanley was a graduate of Haworth High School in Kokomo in 1966 and worked for several retail companies, including GC Murphy, Shaffer Distributing, Sears, and Walmart before retiring in 2020. He was an active member of Courtland Avenue Church of Christ and had a strong love for Our Savior Jesus Christ.
His work took him travelling across the Midwest, sparking an interest in Great Lakes shipwrecks, and led him to live in the Chicago area for a time before returning to Kokomo. He loved to travel and spend time in the summer visiting with family in Arkansas. He was an avid fan of Kokomo Wildkats basketball, the Seiberling Mansion, and the Haynes Apperson history here at home. His other hobbies were photography, gardening, and U.S. military history. He was also a big supporter of our veterans, giving to organizations like Wounded Warrior Project and Disabled Veterans of America regularly.
Stanley was a man of faith with a kind soul that liked to help when he could, and he was a strong presence in his nieces’ and nephews’ lives growing up. We all loved him for who he was and are thankful for the time we had. His memory will be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Stan will be held Monday, November 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Jimmy “Shakey” Allen Collier
Jimmy “Shakey” Allen Collier, 81, formerly of Kokomo, passed away 2:48 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare in Kokomo. He was born in Kempton, IN, on April 19, 1944, the son of the late Lowell and Mildred (Miller) Collier.
Jimmy was a 1962 graduate of Sheridan High School. He retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service as a test driver. He also was a mechanic and was formerly employed at Biddles in Sheridan. He was fascinated with cars and drag racing. He was a member of the American Legion and the UAW #685. Jimmy will be remembered for being the life of the party and dancing to the beat of his own drum.
He is survived by his children Tammy Collier and Chad (Laura) Collier; sisters Karen (Jeff) Thatcher and Elizabeth Berger; grandchildren Ashleigh Collier, Austin Collier, and Zach Collier; and best friends Ron Ousley and John Morris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Don Collier and Bill Collier.

Wanda Walker, age 69, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Wanda was born in Colorado Springs, CO.

Rebecca “Becky” Ann (Baber) Lord
Rebecca “Becky” Ann (Baber) Lord, 77, of Kokomo, passed away 11:38 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born in Kokomo, IN, on March 29, 1948, the daughter of the late Lester and Oma (Middleton) Baber.
Becky was a 1966 graduate of Kokomo High School. She retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo after more than 48 years of service as the surgery scheduler for the operating room. Becky prioritized the time she spent with her family and her grandchildren. She had a soft spot for all animals, but especially dogs. She liked reading, drawing, crocheting, and needle pointing. She also enjoyed playing Solitaire and completing jigsaw puzzles. Becky found joy in traveling to the beach to walk and search for shells. She will be remembered for being an excellent cook and baker. She was a former member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her daughter Lori Douglas Rhinebarger; grandchildren Kylie Warner, Kelsey Watrol, and Seth Rhinebarger; great-grandchildren Hannah Herren, Haddie Herren, Annabella Watrol, and Peter Watrol; sister Cynthia Rayl; nephews Abram Rayl and Joseph Rayl; and several nieces and nephews of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Oma Baber; daughter Kristin Warner Simmons; and brothers Ronnie Baber and Donnie Baber.

Lester V. Shelton
Lester V. Shelton, a revered attorney, cherished family member, and a man of great intellect and warmth, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Kokomo, IN. Born on October 14, 1949, in Symbol, KY, Lester’s journey through life was marked by his analytical mind and loving heart, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.
Graduating from Kokomo High School in 1967, Lester’s pursuit of knowledge led him to the esteemed halls of Indiana Law School, where he honed his skills and emerged as a graduate well-prepared to embark on his legal career. He spent many years as an attorney in English, IN, where his expertise and dedication to justice were well-known and respected. Lester’s professional life was characterized not just by his intelligence but also by his unwavering commitment to the community he served.
Beyond the courtroom, Lester was a man of diverse interests. In his younger days, he enjoyed the challenges and camaraderie found on the golf course. His love for nature was evident in the simple pleasure he found in feeding the deer, a pastime that brought him much joy and tranquility. Those quiet moments in nature’s embrace were a testament to Lester’s appreciation for life’s simpler pleasures. At home, he was often found indulging in his favorite television shows, a reflection of his ability to find contentment in the everyday.
Lester was preceded in death by his loving parents James and Martha Shelton, his sister Juanita Copeland, and brother-in-law Paul Purvis. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with his siblings: Brenda Pattison, Jean Purvis, James Shelton, and Carlos Shelton, along with several adoring nieces and nephews. Each family member was touched by Lester’s love and wisdom in a unique way, and they will carry forward the lessons and laughter he shared with them.
In describing Lester, one cannot help but think of the words of Albert Einstein: “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.” Lester embodied this sentiment, living a life rich in value, both to his family and to the many clients he served with distinction.
Lester V. Shelton’s life was one of purpose and passion. His intellectual pursuits and heartfelt interactions created a tapestry of a life well-lived, marked by an unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his community. He will be deeply missed and remembered for the intelligent, analytical, and loving man he was. His legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Roger Leonard Kaschmitter
Roger Leonard Kaschmitter, 72, of Russiaville, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis with his wife at his bedside.
He was born on June 10, 1953, the son of Leonard and Delma (Byrd) Kaschmitter. He was a 1971 graduate of Ritenour High School. He worked at Chrysler and retired after 33 years of service.
Roger is survived by his wife Cynthia (Cindy Meyers) Kaschmitter, his soulmate of 47 years.
Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved sitting at the kitchen table or on the deck, weather permitting, having his morning coffee, watching the birds, and on occasion a few deer may pass by.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Delma Kaschmitter and sister Sandy Edwards.
Keeping with Roger’s wishes there will not be public services.
