Robert “Bob” J. Nutter

Robert “Bob” J. Nutter, 87, of Kokomo, went to heaven to meet his beloved Donna at 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. He was born on May 13, 1938, the son of Delbert and Edna (Osborn) Nutter. Bob married Donna Lee Nutter on June 5, 1960, and she preceded him in death on January 11, 2019.

Bob was a 1956 graduate of Kokomo High School. He worked at Chrysler for almost 37 years and retired in April 1993. Bob was a member of the Greentown Masonic Lodge. He also enjoyed traveling the United States, especially Hawaii and Canada, with his wife, Donna.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Clyde Yockey) Cone; grandkids Ashley Cone and Amy (Jevon Simmons) Cone, who he adored and helped raised with his wife; great-grandson, Callahan James Cone who was adored; and siblings, Karen Napolitano and Dennis (Roberta) Nutter.

Along with Bob’s wife Donna, he was preceded in death by his parents Delbert Nutter and Edna Nutter, stepdad Bob Coy, and sister Joann Kraner.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Brady Howell and Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the funeral home. A masonic service will follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
