Daniel “Danny” Joe Deeter
Daniel “Danny” Joe Deeter, 87, of Kokomo, Indiana, went home to the Lord on March 21, 2026. He was born March 11, 1939, in Logansport, Indiana. Danny will be remembered as an adventurous, devoted, and faithful man whose steady presence and quiet strength shaped the lives of those who knew him.
Danny proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959. He later worked at Chrysler as an inspector, where his dedication and reliability were evident throughout a 34-year career before his retirement.
A devoted family man, Danny cherished time spent with loved ones and the simple traditions that became lasting memories. He went to breakfast every Tuesday with his granddaughter Andrea, and Fridays were spent with his granddaughter Carrie; a routine that they will cherish forever.
Danny’s adventurous spirit showed in the things he enjoyed most—hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially treasured Saturdays spent shooting guns with his son Terry. Known as someone who could build anything, Danny took pride in working with his hands and was actively building a train set. At home, he delighted in feeding squirrels out of his hand, especially his favorite squirrel George. He spent countless weekends playing euchre with Kenny and Mylinda.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Wilbur Deeter; his mother Jean Mitchell; his son Rickey Deeter; his brothers Jim Deeter and Butch Deeter; and his sister Cindy Deeter.
He is survived by his son Terry Deeter (Mitzi Smith); his daughter Mylinda Wright (Kenneth); his grandchildren Carrie Smith (Josh), Jennifer Brower (Matt), Danielle Wright, Andrea Wright-Hughes (Sam), Ashley Jung (Patrick), Matthew Deeter (Kasey), and Darrick Deeter (Layke); his great-grandchildren Caitlynn Martin (Kolby), Caleb Hernandez (Cora), Miah Brower, Christian Wright, Oliver Jung, Braxton Deeter, Annabelle Deeter, Weston Deeter, Abbott Deeter, and Walton Deeter; his great-great-grandchildren Makenna Martin and Mattie Anne Martin; his brother David Deeter (Donna); his daughter-in-law Jennette Deeter; and last but not least his tubby dog Skeeter Deeter.
A private service will be held on March 26, 2026, at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
Lawrence “Larry” Francis McCourt
Lawrence “Larry” Francis McCourt, 84, of La Porte, IN, passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare-Terrace Care Center.
Larry was born on May 13, 1941, in Detroit, MI, to Joseph and Julia (Beste) McCourt.
Surviving are his son Adam McCourt of Seattle, WA; sisters Kaye Douglass of Kokomo, Annie (Bruce) Jackson of Baraboo, WI, and Arlene (Dave) Phillips of La Porte; niece Kristie (Jerry Weathers) Watkins of La Porte; great-nephew Evan J. Weathers of La Porte; great-niece Erica J. Watkins of South Bend; brother Vincent (Elsie) McCourt of Elkhart; fourth brother Bud (Elaine) Wetzel of Warsaw: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and dear neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece Janell Douglass; brother-in-law Jim Douglass; nephew Brian Doherty; niece’s husband Ali Canca; and niece’s son Sadur Canca.
Larry proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was self-employed as a landscaper and thoroughly enjoyed his work. Larry enjoyed classical music, was an avid reader, and loved researching the family tree with his sister Kaye Douglass. Larry loved his family. He was a devoted father and friend to all he met.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. (4 p.m. EST) at Galveston Cemetery, 12574 S. Co. Rd. 1000 E., Galveston, IN.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Kimberly Sue Henderson
Kimberly Sue Henderson, born on March 4, 1960, passed away on March 20, 2026, leaving behind a quiet but meaningful imprint on the hearts of those who loved her. Kimberly’s gentle spirit and the simple things she loved made her truly special.
Kimberly found happiness in everyday moments. She loved listening to Johnny Cash and singing along to her favorite songs, spending time coloring page after page with care, and writing her thoughts, notes, and doodles in her notebook. Wherever she went, there was almost always a Diet Coke nearby - one of her favorite comforts that never failed to make her smile.
Kimberly proudly participated in the Special Olympics, where she enjoyed being active, spending time with others, and sharing in the joy of competition and friendship. She also worked for many years at Bona Vista, where she spent time with friends and coworkers who became an important part of her life.
Kimberly enjoyed living at the group home, where she made many friends and stayed busy with activities she loved. She looked forward to dances, cookouts, and gatherings, and she enjoyed being surrounded by people who cared about her. The friendships she made there brought her happiness and a strong sense of belonging.
Her last years were spent at Waterford Place, where she continued to share her kindness with everyone around her. Kim loved to color pictures and would make one for anyone who stopped in to say hi. These small gifts were her way of showing friendship, and they meant so much to those who received them.
She is survived by her mother Lucretia Bassett; her sisters Sandy Absher (Rod) and Patty Jennings; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember her with love. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Henderson; her stepfather Kenneth Bassett; her sister Cathie Huskins; and her stepsister Patty James.
The family gives their sincere thanks to Waterford Place for the excellent care and kindness Kim received over the years. A special thank you is also given to her roommate Marcia for her friendship and companionship.
She will be remembered for her calm presence, her creativity, her love of music, and the way she could sit peacefully for hours coloring, writing, or singing along to Johnny Cash. Those who knew Kimberly will always hold close the memory of her quiet joy and the warmth she brought into their lives.
Kimberly Sue Henderson will be dearly missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center, 3400 S. Judith Ann Price
Judith Ann Price, 82, of Kokomo, IN, passed away on March 22, 2026. She was born on June 20, 1943, in Kokomo, IN, the daughter of Samual O. and Nina Tolley. She married Robert W. Price on May 4, 1966, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2023.
Judy graduated from St. Joseph Academy in May of 1961. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and UAW Local 292. Judy and Bob loved riding motorcycles and RVing.
Surviving relatives include her son Jeffery (Debra) Price, 16 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Rodney G. and Samual M. Tolley, and sister Linda L. Harlin.
Judy will be laid to rest with Bob at Sunset Memory Gardens in Kokomo, IN. Thanks be to God. May her soul rest in peace. There will be no funeral services.
Robert A. Giles, Jr.
Robert A. Giles, Jr., 65, of Colfax, passed away March 20, 2026, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born on August 26, 1960, in Kokomo to Robert Alan Giles and Doretta Mae (Richards) Pickett. He married Joyce Carol Hall on October 10, 1987, and she survives.
Robert grew up in Greentown, graduating from Eastern High School in Greentown. He moved to Clinton County in 1987 when he became the town marshal of Colfax. In 1990, he began working for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis where he was a Quality Control Engineer, working on medical devices. He worked there for 27 years, retiring in December of 2017. The biggest love of Bob’s life was his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 2006, he followed the call to begin the Colfax Tabernacle Fellowship where he pastored for 19 years, leading many in their faith.
Bob loved his family and his animals. He was a huge animal lover, especially his pets. His interests varied widely. He enjoyed music, writing and singing songs along with Joyce and playing several different instruments, including guitar, mandolin, and harmonica. He also enjoyed building things and collecting knives, guns, coins, and sports cards. Robert was a sports fanatic who loved all sports and proudly earned his black belt in karate.
Surviving along with his wife Joyce are his children Rachel Dawn Kerns of Brazil, IN, Robert A. (Brianna) Giles III of Michigantown, and Tiffany Grace (Dustin) Wrightsman of Colfax, grandchildren Ashton, Davin, Kairon, Parker, Sutton, and Amara, his dad James Pickett Sr. of Zionsville, along with his siblings Teresa (Mike) Nixon of Russiaville, James (Michelle) Pickett Jr. of Zionsville, Michael (Kelly) Giles of Kokomo, and Debbie Begley of Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother Mary Giles.
A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at a later date. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort, are honored to assist the Giles family.
