Brenda (Reed) Lambert

Brenda (Reed) Lambert, 74, of Kokomo, passed away 9:08 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Community Howard Regional Health Hospital in Kokomo. She was born in Covington, KY, on May 11, 1951, the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Carolyn J. (Schrecengost) Reed. On April 21, 1998, she married Don Michael Lambert, and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2018.

Brenda was a graduate of Beech Wood High School where she was a Majorette and baton twirler. She was a fan of watching racing and basketball, especially the college basketball March Madness tournament. She was a skilled seamstress. She was a member of a weekly ladies sewing club. They often took day trips and cruises with them. Brenda spoiled her grandchildren and great-grandchild and was the best Mimi to them.

She is survived by her children Suzi (Jim) Elliott and Brian (Brooke) Neeley; grandchildren Tanner (Gage) Elliott, Silas Neeley, and Raina Neeley; great-grandchild Parker Elliott; and a large extended family of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A private burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger, KY. A private Celebration of Life will take place later. Cremation has been entrusted to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
