James Eugene “Jim” Devore

James Eugene “Jim” Devore, 92, of Rossville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 6:49 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville. He was born on October 22, 1933.

A proud graduate of Rossville High School, Jim went on to serve his country with the Indiana National Guard during the Korean War.

Raised as a farm boy in Clinton County, Jim devoted his life to the local farming community, serving in many roles over the years — as a farmer, a farming educator, a co-op manager, and a farm implement dealer. He later spent many years at Donaldson before retiring.

That lifelong love of farming carried into his many interests. Jim had a particular passion for buying, selling, trading, and repairing toy tractors — a hobby that brought him great satisfaction — and he enjoyed attending antique tractor shows and took pride in owning a 1941 Cockshutt 60. He was an active member of both the Antique Tractor Club and the Lions Club.

Beyond his working life, Jim found deep purpose in serving others as a chaplain for the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and as a prison chaplain in Polk County, Florida. His Christian faith guided him throughout his life and was reflected in his active membership at Grace Baptist Church in Frankfort.

Above all, Jim cherished his family. He is survived by his five daughters Doretta Jean Campbell, Sondra Sue (Robert) Hudson, Debra Lou (David) Watson, Elizabeth Ann (Andrew) Harris, and Linda Joan (Michael) Moscato; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings Darlene (Richard) Dwigans of Kokomo, Gerald (Shirley) Devore of Elkhart, Loretta (Lawrence) Lambert of Kokomo, Grace Beresford of Adolphus, Kentucky, Diane Hill of Cutler, Indiana, and Hope Pitman of Fort Myers, Florida; along with many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Sondra Devore; his second wife Carolyn Devore; his siblings Ronald Lee Devore and Daniel Joseph Devore; his granddaughter Charlotte Lutin; his grandson Andrew Harris; and his nephew Stephen Wayne Hill.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Grace Baptist Church, 900 S. Maish Road, Frankfort, with Pastor Kevin Alber officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Stout & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

She cherished all her close friends who enriched her life. Gardening was a passion, as was preparing meals for those she loved, and sharing in the gift of music. She sang in church and delighted in listening to music, but above all, Ida treasured her family and the time she spent with them - especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas at the home she dearly loved!

Sariya Lynn Rybolt

Sariya Lynn Rybolt, 34, went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2026. She was born October 13, 1991, to Doug Rybolt and Marcy Lane in Kokomo, Indiana.

Sariya loved going to school and had a passion for learning and routine, including her time with Indiana Mentors. Her go-to song on the way to school was “Family Bible,” and you could be sure she had the sun visor down like she did every time she got in the car.

Her days were filled with the things that made her happy: singing, dancing, coloring, and getting her nails done. She enjoyed going to the Milwaukee Iron clubhouse and settling in to watch her favorite movies like “Pretty Woman,” “Mary Poppins,” or anything that included Disney princesses.

Sariya’s heart was especially drawn to her family—most dearly to her siblings, nieces, nephews, and dogs Chewbacca and Onyx. She attended Radiant Life Ministry, where she found community and connection. She was loved by everyone, not because she tried to be, but because her goodness was easy to feel—especially in the simple ways she gave it: through hugs, through laughter, and through the comfort of her presence.

Sariya is survived by her father Doug Rybolt (Tricia); stepfather Richie Kline; siblings Sebastian Rybolt (Brooke), Sausha Rybolt, Tahtianna Rybolt, Kylie Shue (Casey), Korey Sexton (Rhea), and Brayden Kline; grandparents John Rybolt, Rosa Dunson, and Marsha and Jimmy Kline; nieces and nephews Noah, Eli, and Cruz Shue, Samira, Satavia, and Sebastian Rybolt, Ava, Asher, and Alex Sexton, and Azaria Balentine; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother Marcy Kline; grandparents Penny Rybolt, David Lane, and Dave and Sheryl Fernung; and cousin Abby Rybolt.

Visitation will be held at Radiant Life Ministry, 1602 E. Gano St., Kokomo, IN 46901, on May 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Radiant Life Ministry on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo.

Rickey A. Wolford

Rickey A. Wolford, age 63, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on May 17, 2026, in the city where he was born and lived much of his life. He was born on September 9, 1962, in Kokomo, Indiana, and throughout his life he carried with him the steady spirit, humor, and practical skill that those who knew him came to cherish.

Rickey was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Carolyn Wolford. He was a devoted brother to Regina Ashby and her husband Jonathan, Ronald Wolford and his wife Melanie, and Terry Wolford and his wife Victoria. He was also a brother-in-law to Sandy Benzinger and the late Steve Benzinger, also had several nieces and nephews. His family was an important part of his life, and he valued the bonds that connected them through the years. Those relationships, built on loyalty and shared memories, were a meaningful part of the life he lived.

Rickey graduated from Haworth High School in 1981. During his school years, he was known for his athletic ability, especially in middle school, where he was a great pole vaulter. That early talent reflected the energy and determination that would remain part of his character throughout his life. He approached life with an adventurous nature and a willingness to take on challenges, qualities that made him memorable to friends and family alike.

A hardworking and capable man, Rickey spent much of his working life in antique furniture repair. He began by working alongside his dad, learning the trade and developing the hands-on skills that would become one of his trademarks. He had a natural ability to fix, restore, and improve what others might have overlooked, and he took pride in doing careful work. His hands were skilled, his eye was sharp, and his knowledge was built through experience, patience, and a genuine appreciation for craftsmanship. He was the kind of man people could turn to when something needed attention, and he often found a way to make things right.

Rickey was also known for enjoying the outdoors. He loved fishing, and he found peace and happiness being outside. Whether he was spending time near the water, enjoying the quiet of nature, or taking part in activities that let him appreciate the fresh air, he felt most at home when he was outdoors. He also enjoyed kayaking, which suited his adventurous side and gave him another way to connect with the world around him. These interests reflected the simple pleasures that brought him joy and balance in life.

Those who knew Rickey will remember him as adventurous, funny, and handy. He had a sense of humor that could lighten a room, and he was often able to bring a smile to the faces of others. His practical nature and willingness to help made him someone people could depend on. He was not only skilled with his hands, but also generous with his time and presence. He had a way of making others feel comfortable, and his personality left a lasting impression on many.

Rickey lived a life shaped by family, work, and the things he loved most. He leaves behind memories of laughter, hard work, outdoor adventures, and the quiet satisfaction of a life spent doing what he knew best. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A traditional obituary cannot fully capture the many moments that made Rickey who he was, but it can honor the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his humor, his skill, and the love he shared with those around him. May he be remembered with affection and gratitude for the life he lived and the many ways he touched the lives of others.
