John William Ennis
John William Ennis, 88, passed away on September 6, 2026. He was born April 26, 1938, to the late Areta and Gail Ennis Sr.
John dedicated 34 loyal years to Chrysler before his retirement. He found deep joy in his family, especially in the time he spent with his grandchildren. He also was an avid Purdue football and basketball fan. When he wasn’t watching sports, he was playing softball at Foster Park or basketball at the UAW hall. John enjoyed tinkering around his garage and took pride in his Ram trucks. He could often be found outside, riding his bike. He was a regular at local restaurants, with Ducky’s, Doc’s, and Ray’s Drive-In among his go-to places. John had a short list of essentials: Coca-Cola and a bag of Lay’s potato chips.
He is survived by his children Rita Ennis, John Ennis Jr., James Ennis, Donald Ennis (Ginger), John Ennis III, Ryan Ennis, Travis Ennis, Matthew Ennis (Tiffany), and Joel Fink. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and brother Gail Ennis Jr. (Helen).
In addition to his parents. John is preceded in death by his brothers Benjamin Ennis, Joe Ealy, Harold Ealy, and Ronald Ennis.
A visitation for John will take place on September 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. The family encourages guests to dress casually.
Jaime L. Arnold
Mr. Jaime L. Arnold, 64. Kokomo, transitioned at 11:08 a.m. on Monday, August 17, in his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of the Second Missionary Baptist Church, 819 N. Apperson Way. Rev. Edward S. Thomas will serve as Eulogist and Officiant.
Charles M. Roseberry
Mr. Charles M. Roseberry, 83, of Kountze, TX, formerly Bunker Hill, passed away on September 4, 2026, at Dogwood Trails Nursing Home in Woodville, TX. He was born on October 5, 1942, in Kokomo to the late James T. and Harriet (Harwood) Roseberry. He was married to Patricia Roseberry, and she passed away in November 2004.
Charles spent majority of his life in construction and the last 15 years working for the State of Indiana, doing building service maintenance for the Kokomo National Guard Armory. He loved doing carpentry and building things. Charles also enjoyed spending time in the yard with his late wife. Above all, he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Charles is survived by his sons Ty (Christine) Roseberry, Clifford Roseberry, and Tony Lawson; grandchildren Brandon Turner, Erica Turner, Ryan Schrock, Lacey Schrock, Mary P. Lee, Daniel Lawson, Chelsea Centeno, Wendy Clements, Schaira Lawson, Clint Lawson, Isaac Lawson, Justin Shuck, Chris Shuck, Rayann Klein, and Kaylie Miller.
Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years Patricia Roseberry; son Dennis Roseberry; stepdaughter LaShellia Schrock; his parents; brothers James, Joe, and Jerry; and sisters Nancy, Yonda, Sally, and Martha.
Committal service for Charles will be on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902
Douglas A. Dailey
Douglas A. Dailey, 74, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Logansport, Indiana.
Born October 22, 1951, in Celina, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Paul N. and Lorene (Nelson) Dailey.
Douglas graduated from Tipton High School and later answered the call to serve his country, proudly wearing the uniform of the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
On October 26, 1973, in Kokomo, Indiana, he married Roxie L. Oody, who survives.
Douglas spent 37 years at Chrysler Casting. He dedicated himself to the work and the people there before retiring.
In the eyes of his children and grandchildren, he was the greatest and most loyal man they ever met. The one with the big heart, the big soul, and the kind of presence that made them feel safe and loved.
He enjoyed coaching softball from the Little League to travel softball with the Indiana Rockets. He loved being outdoors trap shooting, fishing, hunting, and boating.
Retirement didn’t slow him down. He loved babysitting his grandchildren, tending his garden, watching the sunrise, and looking for rainbows. He and Roxie especially loved their time at Marineland Beach in Florida, one of his favorite getaways. He enjoyed every vacation they ever took together, whether it was a big family trip or going to the casino. Family gatherings were a highlight of his life, complete with lively ballgames and the much-anticipated MVP vote, which he was given as the most valuable person in the family.
Survived by his wife of 52 years Roxie Dailey; his daughters Carrie (Kline) Sprague, Amanda (Chris) Wagaman, and Raina Dailey (Neal); brothers Jim and Paul Dailey; sister Barb Lyke; grandchildren Dakota (Jacq “Margaret”) Sprague, Braden (Felicite) Sprague, Lexa Grace (Damon) Sprague, Sutter Griffin, Elli Wagaman, Danira Wagaman, Alexis (Mason) Schnurpel, Kaylie Neal, and Kail Neal; and great-grandchildren Emma, Everett, Brynlee, Benson, Colt, and Lynlee.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Leela Wagaman.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 3-6 p.m. at the UAW Local #1166, located at 2761 North, 50 East, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.

Arlette Galilea Valle
Arlette Galilea Valle, 25, of Monticello, Indiana, died very unexpectedly at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in a car crash in rural Brookston, Indiana.
Arlette was born on Saturday, March 24, 2001, in McAllen, Texas, to Rey Raul Valle and Arabel (Delgado) Valle. They survive.
Arlette attended and graduated from Harrison High School and enjoyed fulfilling a fire science class, receiving her Firefighter 1 certificate. She was very active and loved to play soccer, softball, and track and field while in high school. She did sheet metal work and operating work with the SMART Union Local 20. She then settled down and enjoyed her career at Egg Life. Arlette started Egg Life in June of 2025 and was a Pasta Operator level 3. Arlette had a huge heart, and a smile that always lit up the room, no matter how bad your day had been. Her family was her world and was close to so, so many.
Surviving along with her parents are her brothers Rey Raul Valle, Jr, Obbie R. Valle, and Anzel Valle, all of Monticello, Indiana; maternal grandmother Paulina Muñoz of Kokomo, Indiana; paternal grandparents Alberto and Maria Del Carmen Valle of San Juan, Texas; maternal great-grandmother, Adela Soto De Muñoz; maternal aunts Maria Muñoz of Chicago, Illinois, and Miriam (husband Jason) Crain of Kokomo, Indiana; maternal uncles Jose Soto of Texas, Alejandro Delgado of Zebulon, North Carolina, and Cesar Delgado of Jemison, Alabama; paternal aunts Norma (husband Moises) Ramirez of San Juan, Texas, Ana (husband Francisco) Uresti of Monticello, Indiana, Bertha (husband Jose Luis) Guel of Houston, Texas, and Aimee (husband Artemio) Estudillo of Monticello, Indiana; paternal uncle Juan Alberto (wife Sandra) Valle of San Juan, Texas; and several great aunts, great uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arlette was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Sirenio Delgado; maternal great-grandmother Donaciana Delgado; maternal great-grandfather Pablo Muñoz; paternal great-grandmother Dionicia Alvarado; great-grandfather Heriberto Perez; paternal great-grandmother Guadalupe Perez; paternal great-grandfather Alberto Valle, Sr.; maternal great uncle Urbano Muñoz; maternal great aunt Francisca Franco; and maternal cousins Alberto Muñoz, Jennifer Soto, Jose Antonio Soto, Steven Gallegos, Jose Cruz, and Daniel Cruz.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Arlette will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at The Shed at Pine View Golf Course, 5310 Norway Road, Monticello, IN 47960.
Private family services will take place at a later date, with Rafael Tirado officiating.

James “Jim” Allen Huffman
James “Jim” Allen Huffman, 84, of Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. He was born on April 6, 1942, the son of James “Homer” and Mabel (Rice) Huffman. On April 2, 2018, he married Kathy Fisher at One Church, and she survives.
Jim was a 1960 graduate of New Ross High School. He worked in production at Chrysler for 30+ years. He enjoyed farming and the Western Marching Panther Band, which were his true passions. Jim was a member of One Church, where he volunteered at weekly Wednesday night meals. He would also volunteer at Howard Community Hospital for years. He was a big fan of the Indiana Fever and anything involving Purdue athletics, especially basketball. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Along with his wife Kathy, he is survived by his children Lisa (Eric) Huffman Woods and Julie (Matt) Huffman Davis; grandchildren Evan Woods, Erin Woods (Hannah Chartrand), Mason Davis (Melanie Walsh), Mackinley Davis, and Matthew Davis; siblings Karen (Gary) Huffman Dale; stepsons Ryan (Camie) Fischer and Adan Fischer; stepdaughter Natalie (Patrick) Grecu; bonus grandchildren Lauren Fischer, Jaelyn Fischer, Grayson Fisher, and Ellie Fischer; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 47 years Cheryl “Sherry” N. Huffman; and siblings Jean Newlin, Dorie Edwards, and Donna Sue Rogers.

Myra Lou Wilson
Myra Lou Wilson, 68, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1958, in Tipton to the late Paul Leon and Phyllis E. (Ward) Bugher. Myra married Charles “Chuck” Wilson on February 14, 1980, in Kokomo, and he passed away on June 14, 2017.
Myra worked in the healthcare industry as a CNA and QMA for many years. She was also a caregiver for many of her own family members throughout the years. Myra enjoyed playing poker, traveling, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Myra is survived by her children Todd (Michelle Hartley) Bugher, of Kokomo, Tammy (Brad Jones) Wilson of Kokomo, Amanda (Gordon) Parsons of Florida, Shannon Davis of Kokomo, Ed (Cindy) Wilson of Toledo, and Rich (Patricia) Wilson of Toledo; grandchildren Izaiah (Bliss) Bugher, Ayden Mudd, Vincent Bugher, Adrianna Davis-Bugher, Dominik Bugher, Bryan Schleppenbach, Dalton Jones, and Kayce Wilson; great-granddaughters Opal, Loxley, and Alyanna; siblings Shirley Bugher and Brenda Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death are her husband Charles; her parents; and siblings Charlene Kitts, Pam Bugher, Steve Bugher, and Tina Watterson.
Myra’s family would like to send a special thanks to her lifelong best friend Nancy Jones and her son Tom Jones for their love and support.

Margaret Ann (Pratt) McKinney Seitz
Margaret Ann (Pratt) McKinney Seitz, 82, of Kokomo, Indiana, known to most as “BZ,” was born February 11, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Ralph Stuart Pratt and Josephine Mary (Urajnar) Pratt.
BZ spent the early portion of her life in Indianapolis and graduated from Scecina Memorial High School. She later relocated to Kokomo, Indiana, where she married Jimmy (Jim) Seitz in 1989.
Though BZ worked throughout much of her life, the roles most important to her were those of grandmother and great-grandmother. BZ and her late husband Jim enjoyed traveling to attend their grandchildren’s sporting events and celebrate their accomplishments. It was a long-running family joke that she spent most of her days driving on U.S. 31 between Kokomo and Indianapolis. She was especially fond of the holidays and was known for going “over the top.” She bought each grandchild a small Christmas tree and helped them decorate it each year as they grew up.
On birthdays, family and friends could always count on BZ leaving a voicemail singing “Happy Birthday” or sending a heartfelt card full of confetti with the usual lottery ticket. As an avid fan of the Indianapolis 500, she would often turn the entire month of May into a giant party. She also cherished her many friendships.
Survivors include her four children: David A. McKinney (Angela), Deborah L. Foster (Thomas), Daniel W. McKinney (Jami), and Douglas L. McKinney (Stacy); 11 grandchildren: Joseph Sullivan, Megan Donovan (Stephen), Amanda McKinney (Jacob), Zachary McKinney, Rebecca Detro, Randi McKinney, Emily Paul (Adam), Matthew McKinney (Natalie), Sarah Detro, Rachel Meyers (Luke), and Abbey McKinney; seven great-grandchildren: Shelby McKinney, Isabella McKinney, Jackson Donovan, James Donovan, Sophie Paul, Monroe Aspy, and Jordan Donovan; and two sisters: Patricia A. Reibly and Jo Ann Francis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Seitz in 2019; her father Ralph Stuart Pratt in 1971; and her mother Josephine Mary (Urajner) Pratt in 1979.
To honor BZ’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo, Indiana.
Dennis Wayne Hawes
Dennis Wayne Hawes, 74, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. He was born November 8, 1951, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the son of the late Ben & Charlotte (Woosley) Hawes. On August 13, 1974, he married Elizabeth Ruth Branch, who preceded him in death on December 21, 2023.
Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Western High School. He owned and operated Hawes Construction. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and going to the park. Dennis was an avid swimmer and loved watching crime and court shows. He also enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts play football and watching his favorite driver in NASCAR, Jeff Gordon.
Dennis is survived by his children Deanna Hawes and Ben (Ginger) Hawes; grandchildren Ressa Jewell, Brandon Swank, Isaiah Slaughter, and Reagan Hawes; great-grandchildren Leon Jewell, Aiden Jewell, Lillian Jewell, and Dennis McLay; siblings David (Ronda) Hawes, Danny (Anne) Hawes, and Becky Smith; along with several nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Marty Branch.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; wife Elizabeth; grandson Caleb Slaughter; great-granddaughter Charlotte McLay; and brothers-in-law Jeff Smith and Mike Branch.
