John Robert (Bob) Kingsolver

John Robert (Bob) Kingsolver, 92, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on September 9, 2026.

He was born on September 27, 1933, in Montpelier, Indiana, the son of John Walter and Mildred Virginia (Whalen) Kingsolver.

During a leave from the United States Navy, he met his future wife Martha Genevieve (Genny) (Tucker) Kingsolver, and promptly told a friend that she was the girl for him. They married on December 24, 1958.

Bob worked in construction and various trade jobs before beginning a long career as a skilled millwright at Chrysler, where he worked until his retirement. Outside of work, he enjoyed designing, welding, and fixing things for himself, his friends, and his neighbors. He dearly loved singing songs of worship and praise and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ for many years.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Genny; his children Tammy Iles of Bloomington, Robert Allan (Missy) Kingsolver of Kokomo, and Kerry Kingsolver of Bloomington; his grandchildren Kelcey Carmickle, Parker Iles, Carri Schmidt, James Iles, Clay Kingsolver, Amanda Gordon, Drake Ruelas, Jake Ruelas, Tristan Kingsolver, Amiyah Kingsolver, Dakota Curtis, Mackenzy Frazier, and Madison Frazier; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Imogene Winters, Betty Russell, and Virginia Kingsolver; his grandson Jonathan Kingsolver; and his great-grandson Carson King.

Debby Lynn Jajo

Debby Lynn Jajo, age 64, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on September 10, 2026, in the same community where she was born on July 30, 1962, leaving behind a life remembered for love, generosity, and a gentle spirit.

Born to Charles and Lola Samuels, Debby carried the strength of her beginnings with her throughout her life. She lived with a heart that knew how to care for others, how to work hard, and how to meet each day with quiet determination. Those who knew her will remember that she had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and understood. She was the kind of woman whose presence brought comfort, and whose kindness left a lasting impression.

Debby worked in housekeeping and also spent time as a bartender, and in both roles, she showed the same dependable nature and warm personality that defined her life. She understood the value of honest work and the dignity that comes from giving your best to others. Whether she was helping behind the scenes or serving with a smile, she brought sincerity and grace to everything she did. Her life was a reminder that greatness is not always loud. Sometimes it is found in steady hands, a caring heart, and the simple decision to show up with love.

Her faith as a Christian was an important part of who she was, and it helped shape the way she lived. Debby believed in compassion, in perseverance, and in the power of family and friendship. She faced life with a spirit that encouraged others to keep going, to stay grounded, and to appreciate the blessings placed in their path. She was loving, generous, and gentle, and those qualities were not just words used to describe her. They were the way she lived every day.

Debby found joy in the beauty of the outdoors. She loved to garden, and she took pride in nurturing life and watching things grow. When she was younger, she and her brothers went fishing, creating memories that stayed with her throughout her life. She enjoyed swimming and being around water, and she loved the freedom and peace that came with being outside. She was crafty and loved to crochet, using her hands to create with care and patience. She also enjoyed listening to country music, a sound that matched her appreciation for simple joys and heartfelt living. Most of all, she loved being outside and playing with her grandkids, and those moments reflected the deep love she had for her family.

Debby is survived by her husband Jeff Harrington; her daughter Delola Esslinger; stepchildren Liz, Amy, and Tabatha Harrington; her brothers Ricky Grisamore, Mike Grisamore and Pam Martin, and Jim House; her grandchildren Makila and Aleah Esslinger, Trenton and Alexis Shanks, Tia Stafford, Janelle Harrington, and Brooklynn and Kavari McCoy; her two great-grandchildren Trenton Jr. and Everley Shanks; her sister-in-law Melinda Harrington Poirier; and mother- and father-in-law Claudette and Dick East. She also leaves behind her best friends Pam Martin and Linda Moore, whose friendship was a treasured part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Terry Grisamore. Though her absence will be deeply felt, the love she gave and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Debby’s life stands as a powerful reminder that a meaningful life is built through love, service, faith, and the courage to care deeply. She did not simply pass through this world. She touched it, brightened it, and made it better.

Larry Walter Kellough

Larry Walter Kellough, 84, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Northwoods Village in Kokomo. He was born on June 19, 1942, in Chillicothe, OH, the son of Louis W. and Geneva (Uhrig) Kellough. On January 7, 1989, he married Barbara Ann Moon, and she survives.

Larry worked in car sales and served in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant.

Along with his wife Barbara, Larry is survived by his children Alan Kiser and Dyann Oswalt; grandchildren Douglas Kiser, Eric Kiser, and Evan Kiser; and brother Byron Kellough.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry Wayne Tolerson

Jerry Wayne Tolerson, 78, passed away peacefully at his residence, September 4, 2026, in Kokomo, Indiana. Born to Dora and Jesse E. Tolerson Jr, October 2, 1947, in Newport, Arkansas, who preceded him in death. He was the eldest of five children, which includes his surviving siblings Janice Tolerson Chaplin of Kennesaw, GA, and Larry F. Tolerson of Woodstock, GA, along with Jesse Tolerson III of Kokomo, IN, and Barbara C. Tolerson of Newport, Arkansas, who preceded him in death.

Jerry graduated from W. F. Branch High School, Newport, Arkansas. Early in his career, he worked at Brown Jordan Manufacturing and served as a police officer on the Newport Police Department. After moving to Kokomo, Indiana, he was employed by Chrysler Automotive Corporation for 30 years prior to retiring and was a member of UAW Local 685. Jerry enjoyed a simple life, loving to listen to music, watching movies, gardening, and he loved nice cars.

Also, preceding Jerry in death was his wife Lusanta Tolerson and his stepmother Jeanette Tolerson, both of Kokomo IN. He is also survived by two sons Stephan T. Davis (Vickie) of Chester, VA, and Jeremy W. Tolerson of Fort Worth, TX, along with four grandchildren, two stepsisters Darlene Scarborough (Charles) and Fonda Pollard (Thomas), a stepbrother David Washington (Marie), and a sister-in-law Babbie Tolerson, all of Kokomo, IN and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He will be sadly missed.

Sharon Littleton

Sharon Littleton, 84, passed away peacefully August 29, 2026, at Copper Trace of Westfield. She was born on January 8, 1942, in Indianapolis, to Thomas Earl and Helen E. (Sisson) Smith.

She graduated from Howe High School in 1960. She devoted her life to raising her family in New Palestine, Indiana. Sharon was an incredibly gifted artist and enjoyed painting and creating beautiful artwork and crafts. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sharon was a wonderful mom to three daughters Vickie Redgrave and husband Jonathan, Ann Didelot and husband Bill, and Deb Cantrell and husband Jason. She was also an amazing Nana to her seven grandchildren Drew and Nathan Gorczyca, Lauren, Cassy, and Will Didelot, and AJ and Katie Cantrell. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Patricia Crofts.
