Larry Allen Stiner

Larry Allen Stiner, 58, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Howard Community Hospital with friends and family at his side after a suffering a cardiac event.

Larry was born in Kokomo, Indiana, to James Allen Stiner and Vicki Lynn (Williams) Stiner, on August 27, 1965, who both preceded him in death.

He was employed by the City of Kokomo for the last 7 years in the maintenance department and was known and loved by many city employees.

He was well liked in his home neighborhood and would do anything to help others. He was generous to a fault and many times gave his last dollar to folks needing a hand up, even if it meant he had to do without. He often said, “I have to help because I’ve been there myself”. He was affectionately called by some “The King of King St.” He was also an avid fisherman and fished many local tournaments over the years. He was also a diehard Raiders fan and loved watching NASCAR races.

Larry is survived by Step-mother; Mary Stiner Son; Jimmy Wayne Hogan Sisters; Bonnie (Bob) Bradley, Kimberly (Dan) Moore, Rhonda (Adam) Novinger, Connie England and by Brothers; Shannon (Marcie) Stiner, Bobby Shaffer and Step-siblings Mike (Deena) Brown, Billy (Sheri) Ragan and Terri (Gary) Hunt.

In lieu of a viewing and memorial service a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
