Willis Edward Hecht

Willis Edward Hecht, 94, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away May 22, 2024. He was born on November 12,1929, in Kokomo, IN, the son of Russell and Elsie Hecht (Savage). Willis was one of 13 children. On August 17, 1947, he married his "sweetsie pie" Juanita Hecht (Diveley).

Willis enjoyed hunting, fishing, USAC sprint and midget racing. In his free time, he also enjoyed spending time at Nyona Lake. Willis especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the companionship he had with his two dogs, Rex and Ivy.

Surviving relatives include his wife Juanita Hecht of Kokomo, IN; son, Bill Hecht (Judy); daughter, Belinda Hecht both of Kokomo, IN; grandchildren, Brian Hecht (Carol); Dawn Haynes (Joe); Terry Chapel (Sharon); Amy Chapel; great-grandchildren, Brittany King; Heather White; Caitlin Haynes; Hannah Chapel; Joey Haynes; Olivia Gates; Jacob Haynes; Brandon Gates; Brailey Hecht; Sanna Carden; great-great-grandchildren, Jocelyn; Preston; Carter and Asher White; Mia and Millie Harris, and a special nephew, Kenny Hecht.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Brad Hecht whom he loved dearly.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Ellers Mortuary. Funeral services 2:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Ellers Mortuary 725 S. Main Street Kokomo, Indiana 46901. Susan "Susie" Jane Burns

Susan "Susie" Jane Burns, age 78, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 12:31 AM at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born January 4, 1946, in Frankfort, Indiana, to the late Norman and Mary (Conaway) Burns.

Susie retired from Community Howard Regional Hospital after 43 years of employment. She enjoyed quilting and she belonged to the local sewing guilds. They would make quilted items to donate to non-profit organizations. Susie also loved attending sewing retreats and going to quilt shops. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great-grandchildren.

Surviving is her son, Robert (Marilyn) Burns; daughter-in-law, Angie Burns; grandchildren, Shannon (Jeremy) Irmeger and James Rodenbarger; great-grandchildren, Ivy and Von Irmeger; nephews, Steve (Debbie) Kincaid; and great nephews, Matt Kincaid and Nick (Raegen) Kincaid.

Preceded in death is her parents; son, William "Bill" Burns; and sister, Judy Kincaid.

There will be a time of visitation for Susie on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Graveside service will follow to Geetingsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Susie's memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.



Ronald Seals

Ronald Seals, 72, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away May 16, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1952, in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of Theodore and Ethelyne (King) Seals. He retired from Chrysler and loved to ride bikes.

He is survived by his son, Steven Seals; grandchildren, Brooklyn Seals, Gavin Seals, Devon Seals, Kyle Johnston, Brittany Johnston; brother, Bob Seals.

Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center.
