Joseph Michael Harris
Joseph Michael Harris, 57, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away June 2, 2024. He was born on August 16, 1966, in Kokomo, IN, the son of Joseph Patrick and Emily R. Harris (Pasquali). On February 21, 1987, he married Annette L. Harris (McClish) who survives.
Joseph loved coaching youth sports as his children were growing up. He enjoyed joking around with family and friends. He also enjoyed cooking, metal detecting, the outdoors, collecting marbles, camping, and spending time with family. Joseph was a huge Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed talking to his mom during games. He had a passion for history and has spent the past two years working with a historian to ensure his great grandfather, William Simon Harris, is honored properly with the presentation of the Medal of Honor for his heroic deeds during the Spanish War. Joseph worked at Humphrey Printing, in downtown Kokomo, for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and son who cared deeply for those around him.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Annette L. Harris of Kokomo, IN; mother, Emily R. Harris; daughters, Monica Barber (Robert); Madelina Harris; sons, Joseph Harris, Jr. (Courtney); JonPatrick Harris; grandchildren, Heaven; Ocean; Izick; Izzabella; Milan; Broghan; sisters, Bridgette Ann Wilson (Tom); Susan Spohn (Max); nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Max Dee McKoon
Max Dee McKoon, 69, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away June 3, 2024. He was born on November 24, 1954, in Kokomo, IN, the son of Carl Durfee and Emma J. (Troyer) McKoon. He retired from Chrysler in 2004 and also proudly served his country in the Air Force Reserves as a Jet Engine Mechanic. He was a 1973 graduate of Haworth High School and received and Associate,s Degree from Indiana University of Kokomo. He was an avid music lover, enjoyed painting and the Arts. He also enjoyed bicycle riding around town. He was known by many for his Karaoke singing and socializing at various taverns.
Max is survived by daughter, Andrea McKoon; daughter Kasey McKoon Catt and husband, Jeffrey; siblings, Nancy (Jim) Guthrie, Carlene Nearon; grandchildren, Dylan McKoon, Brooklyn Adams, Aidyn McKoon, Oliver Anderson; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David McKoon, Carl McKoon, Buck McKoon, Cecil McKoon.

Gail Leslie Van Osdell
Gail Leslie Van Osdell, 80, of Kokomo, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024, at her home. She was born in Oak Park, IL, on March 8, 1944, the daughter of Carl and Gladys Grahl. On February 14, 1968, she married John Van Osdell, and he survives.
A true artist at heart, Gail found joy in crafts, cross-stitching, creating beautiful pieces that will be cherished by those who were fortunate to receive them. Throughout her life, Gail rarely missed an opportunity to send a card to a loved one to make them feel special on every holiday. She loved chatting with friends near and far that her and John had made throughout their many moves all over the country. Through the years she always had a soft spot for many different animals and pets; dogs, cats, horses, she loved them all.
Gail is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John; her son, Matt (Diana) Van Osdell; grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, and Maggie; and numerous friends who have become family over the years.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St, Greentown, IN. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Marilyn Sue Krall
Marilyn Sue Krall, 78, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away June 4, 2024. She was born on May 14, 1946, in Kokomo, IN, the daughter of Thomas and Lucille Pickering (Morris). On May 1, 1965, she married Robert Krall who survives.
Marilyn retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service. She was the past honor queen of Job’s Daughters. Marilyn enjoyed NASCAR, traveling out west, and going to Disney World. She also enjoyed collecting Boyd's Bears.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Robert Krall of Kokomo, IN; son, Jeff Krall of Noblesville, IN; daughter-in-law, Massiel Krall; sister, Cindy Gibson of Colorado; twin brother, Marvin Pickering of Kokomo, IN; brother, Thomas "Joe" Pickering of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Zachrey Krall; Kelsie Krall; six great grandchildren; nephew, Billy Gibson and niece, Wendy Howell
She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Mathew Krall, and niece Jill Gibson.

Vicki Lee Duncan (Day)
Vicki Lee Duncan (Day) died peacefully on June 3, 2024, at Southpointe Healthcare Center after a long illness, at the age of 72.
Vicki was born on February 8, 1952, in Indianapolis, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. She was the kindest person you would ever meet, always willing to lend a helping hand and care for others as if they were her own family.
In her career, Vicki worked for Long John Silvers, dedicating herself to the job for the last 15 years. Outside of work, she found joy in cooking, crocheting, and playing card games with her chosen family.
Vicki will be deeply missed by her chosen sisters, Linda Carter of Indianapolis and Kimberly (Richard, Kaleb & Ryan) Kilgore of New Castle, as well as special friends, Michael & Rebecca Burgess (Baron & Lauren) of New Whiteland, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents Anderson & Wilma (Edens) Day of Indianapolis, and her sons Ricky Lee Jones of Houston, Texas, and William Vaughn Browning of Indianapolis.
