Sandra Sue “Sandy” Angell

Sandra Sue “Sandy” Angell, 84, Tipton, passed away 9:00 a.m., Sunday, August 4, 2024, at The Waters of Tipton. She was born January 1, 1940, in Wabash, IN, the daughter of the late Oscar Harold & Oma Louise (Marks) Williams.

Sandy had worked in Home Health Care. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, painting, knitting and watching religious shows on T.V.

Sandy is survived by her children, Dan (Donna) Lesley, Waupecong, IN, Debra (Brent) Greene, Hudsonville, MI and Melinda (David) Kirchner, Windfall, IN; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Andrews, Kokomo and Judy (Duane) Nayrocker, Winter Haven, FL.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2024, in Greenlawn Cemetery, 50 N. County Road N. 780 E., Greentown, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandy’s memory to the Salvation Army. Hasler & Stout Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

David Lee Tidler

David Lee Tidler, 87 of Tipton died peacefully Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Tipton on January 31, 1937, to Charles and Ruth (Lewis) Tidler. David married Evelyn Riley on June 14, 1957. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2014.

David served his county in the United States Air Force. He worked many years at Perfect Circle until it closed; he then transitioned his career to Pioneer where he did multiple tasks throughout his years there. He was a member at Beulah Land Church. David had several hobbies which included caving, fishing, bird watching, hunting arrowheads and enjoying animals, especially his dog. He dearly loved his family as he watched the little ones grow through the generations.

Survivors include his four children Melinda Goodnight-Neff and husband Ronnie of Tipton, DiVette Wyatt of Kokomo, David Lee Tidler Jr. of Kempton and Ronald Tidler and wife Lisa of Kempton. Siblings include Garry Tidler (Sharon), Joe Tidler, Dick Tidler and Evelyn Tidler Johnson and husband Jr. David has 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be on Friday, August 9, at 2:00 P.M. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Friday from Noon until service time.

Marcella L Garrett

Marcella L Garrett, age 98, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was born September 3, 1925, to Charles and Madge Garber in Miami County, Indiana. She was a member of the Connexion Church in Kokomo for many years. She loved her family very much and her loss will be deeply felt by them.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Shawn Garber and Tamie Goodwyne; her great-grandson, Cody Goodwyne; and her brothers, Connie Garber and Terry Garber.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Madge Garber; her husband, Glen J. Garrett; as well as several sisters.

There will be a visitation for Marcella on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, the time of her funeral service, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Rd, Kokomo. She will be buried immediately following the service at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.



Robert Earl Reeder

Robert Earl Reeder, known affectionately as Bob to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024, in Kokomo, Indiana. Born on July 25, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to Harold and Anna Reeder, Bob's warm smile and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew him.

Bob's life was marked by his unwavering kindness and thoughtfulness, traits that endeared him to many throughout his journey. He was a devoted family man, survived by his loving children, Christina Earlywine (David), Larry James (Tina), AJ James (Marcia), and Debbie Morris. Bob's legacy of love continues through his cherished grandchildren, Barbie Busch, Allen James, Christina James, Shen James, Blake James, and Joseph Buzalski, and his adored great-grandson, Larry Busch.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary "Billie" Reeder, his daughter Sherri Reeder, his parents, four brothers, and one sister. His family takes comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with his loved ones in eternal peace.

Throughout his career, Bob was a steadfast and reliable presence. He dedicated many years of service as a Security Guard with Pinkerton Security and later worked at the Carpet Mills in Georgia. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and commitment, qualities that he brought to every aspect of his life.

Bob's interests and hobbies brought joy not only to him but also to those around him. He was an avid player of dominos, often found enjoying the game with friends and family. His strategic mind was also put to use playing Mahjong on the computer, where he could often be found challenging himself with the intricate puzzles of the game. Bob's adventurous spirit shone through his love for his 3-wheeled bicycle, which he rode all over town, greeting neighbors and making new friends along the way.

Those who knew Bob would describe him as friendly, kind, and thoughtful. He had a natural ability to make others feel seen and heard, and his presence was a source of comfort and joy. Bob's life was a testament to the power of simple acts of kindness and the deep impact they can have on the world.

As we bid farewell to Bob, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and cherished moments. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his example of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire us all.

Bob's life will be honored and remembered in a private ceremony attended by his family and close friends. His spirit will forever be a guiding light to those he leaves behind, and his story will be told with fondness and admiration for generations to come. Rest in peace, dear Bob, until we meet again.
