Janet Leha Crow

Janet Leha Crow, affectionately known as Jan, was a beacon of love and faith who graced this world with her presence from April 2, 1959, until her peaceful passing on August 9, 2025, in Marion, Indiana. Born in Kokomo, Indiana, to Geneva Cunningham Crider and the late Robert Crider, Jan's life was a testament to the power of kindness, humor, and unwavering courage.

A proud graduate of Kokomo High School in 1978, Jan worked in the medical field serving others. Her compassionate spirit and healing hands were a comfort to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Jan's commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her Christian faith, which guided her every step and provided a foundation of hope and strength for her family and friends.

Jan's life was rich with the love of her family. She is survived by her mother Geneva; her children Stacey Disalvo, Lexi Benton (Jarrett), and Wade Rose; her cherished grandchildren Phoenix Sisneros, Magnolia, and Piper Benton; her siblings Joan Hill (Greg), Sally Crider, and Bobby Crider; and her niece and nephew Ken Crider and Jessica Spradlen. Each of them will carry forward her legacy of love and faith.

Jan's passion for life was evident in her hobbies. She found joy in the simple pleasures of tending to her flower garden, where she cultivated not only flowers but also a sense of wonder and beauty that she shared with all who visited her home. Her talent for decorating created a warm and inviting atmosphere where laughter was abundant, and memories were made. Jan's sense of humor was infectious; she was known for her ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, even in the most challenging times.

A master in the kitchen, Jan loved to cook big meals for family gatherings, where her delicious dishes were surpassed only by the love that seasoned every bite. Jan spent a lot of time caring for her granddaughter Magnolia and cherished every moment with her.

Jan was a woman of great courage, facing life's trials with a steadfast heart. Her faith-filled life was an inspiration to all who knew her, and her loving nature was a gift that will continue to be felt even in her absence. She will be remembered as a woman who lived her life as a testament to the virtues she held dear: love, faith, and courage.

As we bid farewell to Jan, we do so with the comfort of knowing that she is now in the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father, reunited with her father Robert, who preceded her in death. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her memory will forever be a blessing to those who loved her. Jan's life was a beautiful reflection of the Christian values she cherished, and her story will be told with fondness and admiration for generations to come.

There will be a Graveside Ceremony Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Parklawn cemetery in Amboy, IN, at 11:00 a.m.

He loved country music, especially Hank Williams Sr. He enjoyed his whiskey and bourbon, traveling, riding his Harley-Davidson, and in his later years, watching cowboy shows. Most of all, Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Yvonne Lee-Davis; brother Ron Davis; brother Don Davis and his wife Pat; and daughter-in-law Tanya Davis.
