Mark Russell White
Mark Russell White, 69, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away on February 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Mark was born on June 7, 1956, in Kokomo, Indiana, to James Russell White and Thelma Elizabeth (Threlkeld) White. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1974 and went on to work in a variety of fields throughout his life, including car sales, factory work, and running his own sweatshirt business at festivals with his wife.
Everyone who knew Mark knew how much he loved golfing, fishing, grilling, and officiating basketball, softball, and volleyball. One of his greatest joys was officiating games alongside his children. Mark was a member of Delphi First Assembly of God and a devoted man of faith. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Holidays were often filled with lively game nights, where his competitive spirit shone - especially during games of Clue: The Great Museum Caper.
Mark is survived by his wife Thoma (Flick) White; his children Marcie White, James (Lyca) White, Kyle White, and Caitlin (Jeremy) Bentle; his stepchildren Amanda (Kevin) Hanzlik and Jessica (Nick) Thompson; his grandchildren Austin (Emily) White, Jordyne (Skyler) Cook, Jocelyn (Americus) Jones, Madeline Jones, Gabe White, Emeri White, Claire Thompson, Baylor Thompson, and Madison Bentle; his sibling Cathy McLain; mother-in-Law Connie K Flick; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Russell White and Thelma Elizabeth (Threlkeld) White; siblings Mike White, Vicki Peters, and Pamela Heath; his granddaughter Gracie White; and father-in-Law Connie L. Flick.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Visitation will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. followed by the service at 3:30 p.m. at Delphi First Assembly of God. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Delphi First Assembly of God Children’s Ministries in Mark’s memory.

Connie Ruth Johnson
Connie Ruth Johnson, 80, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on February 28, 2026. She was born February 20, 1946, in Erwin, Tennessee. Connie was a selfless and thoughtful woman whose steady presence and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Connie retired from General Motors, and she took great pride in a life built on dedication and hard work.
Family was at the heart of Connie’s life. She especially cherished spending time with her granddaughter. When her kids were growing up, she faithfully attended all of their events.
Connie enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought people together — garage sales, keeping up with her booth at Treasure Mart, bowling with friends, and time at her cottage at Lake Shafer. She was also a member of the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary.
Connie was preceded in death by her father Willard J. McInturff; her mother Pansy McInturff; her husband Joseph W. Johnson; her infant son Gary Wayne Johnson; and her infant daughter Debbie Lynn Johnson; as well as one sister and two brothers.
Connie is survived by her son Greg Johnson of Kokomo, Indiana; her daughter Penny Johnson (Julie Seaver) of Lake Worth Beach, Florida; her sister Jackie McGee of Erwin, Tennessee; her granddaughter Abby Littrell (Blair) of Zionsville, Indiana; and her great granddaughter Charlotte Littrell of Zionsville, Indiana. As well as nine nieces and six nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, IN 46902. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m.
Connie will be laid to rest at Kokomo Memorial Park, 1300 E. North Street, Kokomo.
Rachel Walls
Rachel Walls, age 58, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home. Rachel was born on November 02, 1967, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Richard Starr Baldwin and Rosanna Paulette Blankenship Baldwin. She was a former employee of HomeBank in Martinsville, IN, and was a longtime Sunday School teacher and member of Southwood Baptist Church in Beech Grove, Indiana. She also participated in many mission trips through the years. Rachel loved her Lord and cherished her family.
Survivors include her husband Jon Walls of Burkesville, KY; three daughters Molly Ann Piercefield of Kentucky, Sarah Starr Arnott (Dustin) of Kokomo, IN, and Jessi Lynn Walls (Marcus) of Beech Grove, IN; two sons Zack Piercefield of Martinsville, IN, and Samuel Keith Walls (Ally) of Kokomo, IN; one sister Debbie Everson (Whitey) of Paragon, IN; five grandchildren Jonny Arnott, Kingston Walls, Trey Trotter, Tori Gormon, and Elly Carr; and her beloved dog Buck.
Cremation has been chosen and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
